"Jade..." Jade found herself unable to communicate with the individual behind the voice that beckoned her. In her recollection, the sound belonged to someone who had consistently treated her with gentleness and accepted all of her behaviors without complaint.

Jade uttered the word. "Mom."

Meanwhile, a sigh escaped from her mother's lips on the other end of the line. "How are you doing, little one?" Her mother asked.

Jade gently pressed her teeth against her lower lip, determined to stifle any sound that might trigger their tears. "I am alright, Mom. How were you able to obtain my phone number?" With a stammer, she inquired.

Once more, a sigh escaped her mother's lips, audible through the cellphone line.

"Have you perhaps overlooked the fact that your necklace is equipped with a tracker? Your dad and I allowed you to go because we believe in your ability to be independent," her mother replied.

As Jade attentively listened to her mother, she felt a peculiar sensation of obstruction in her throat. How could she, in any conceivable manner, have managed to forget such a vital piece of information? Her eyes fixated on the necklace, a precious gift given to her by her parents when she was just a young child.

It was a thoughtful gesture meant to ensure her safety and protect her from any possible dangers that could arise. The necklace served as a beacon of sorts, allowing her parents to quickly locate her in the event of an emergency.

"We let you go, Jade." Her mother's words cut through the air like a sharp blade. "You didn't even bid us farewell or disclose your whereabouts," her mother reproached. Jade could feel the anguish in her mother's voice.

With a subtle gesture, she indicated to Beth that it was time to step into the awaiting vehicle. Jade positioned herself against Beth's car, allowing her mother to take charge of the conversation.

"Jade, it's time for you to go home. We need you here. We will never ask who Crown's father is." Her words caught her off guard, surprising her. It felt as though the mother had somehow tapped into her thoughts.

"We have people who are looking after you, baby. Do not ponder too much on the idea of returning. Please, we implore you," her mother pleaded.

Jade could hear the pounding of her own chest, a clear sign of her nervousness. Throughout her four-year stay here, she had never anticipated that her parents would shield her from any potential harm.

And now, their hearts longed for her to come back home, bringing her precious child along. Doubts filled her mind, mainly because the Philippines was a small nation.

She would surely see the father of her child, and as she pondered this, she became lost in deep thought. "I'm sorry, Mommy, but I just can't," she softly responded, her voice tinged with a hint of trepidation.

"Jade, will you allow your fear to take precedence over your own father? He is in the hospital, baby. Your father had a heart attack. Jade, he requires your presence. Please, we need you," her mother pleaded.

Jade paused, inhaling deeply, and instinctively brought her hand to her mouth. It seemed as though her knee might buckle under the weight of her mother's words, causing tears to stream down her face.

"Your Daddy is in the hospital, Jade. Please go home. Don't forget to bring the crown along with you. Your dad may be angry, but I promise he won't let you leave again." Her mother offered reassurance, saying, "He longs for your company deeply."

There is no need for her to be selfish. "Can I use the private jet? I will go home immediately," she told her mother.

The sound of her mother's voice carried an unmistakable sense of excitement. "Oh God! Thank you so much, Jade!" exclaimed the mother in their line.
