"Jadeey, are you feeling okay?" Jade's mother asked repeatedly. Standing in place, her knees quivered with excitement while she waited for her father to come down from the master's bedroom. Her father's walk was impeded, resulting in him needing more time than usual to get ready.

Her father relies on a cane to assist him in walking with ease. Their staff also provides support for them. "I'm feeling quite nervous, Mommy," she honestly replied to her mother.

"You shouldn't worry, as you successfully completed your studies at a renowned university in New Zealand, didn't you?" Her mother asked. In agreement, she gave a nod.

"Jadeey, that is sufficient to fill us with pride. You have acquired sufficient capability to assume control of the company. Since the tender age of fourteen, your father has been diligently imparting his wisdom to you. This invaluable guidance has played a significant role in shaping your path, which is why I am now offering my unwavering support as you prepare to assume your rightful place," her mother stated.

Her lips released a heavy sigh, while she silently agreed with a subtle nod. As Crown slept peacefully, the matter had already been thoroughly discussed. Later in the day, the young child is anticipating the arrival of a private tutor who will be coming to their residence to provide instruction. Crown had a babysitter all to himself, someone who diligently looked after him, relying on his mother's timepiece to keep track of time.

Jade was confident that her mother would never leave her child behind. Her mother is ill and unable to care for the child, so a nanny takes care of him like she used to.

"Please give me a call at a later time, Mommy. Crown wants to hear my voice when he wakes up," Jade told her mother.

"Not a problem at all, Jadeey. Just relax and be confident. We are the owners of that company. The investors contribute a mere twenty percent, while the remaining eighty percent belongs to us. Controlling our businesses is within our grasp," her mother explained.

She is already aware of that fact. At their company, they possess complete and total control. Her father's wishes were unopposable. Fortunately, there was a lift available. Stepping slowly, her father managed to get out of that situation. The therapist continues to provide support for him. As her father experienced a heart attack, his rheumatism began to manifest as well. In an unexpected turn, a sharp pain surged through the joints, causing particular discomfort in the back and knees.

"Let's go, Jadeey," her father invited her.

Without hesitation, the woman rushed to her father's side, offering her unwavering support. With swift and efficient movements, they steadily made their way towards the awaiting car.

"Jadeey, you are aware of what needs to be done. Have no fear," her father reassured her. "I will support you until you become accustomed to managing our affairs."

Jade acknowledged this with a nod, displaying her readiness despite her brief stay in the Philippines. The reason she graduated with honours is because she was educated in her father's business. All she needed then was a diploma.

Without hesitation, she registered for an online course at her esteemed university in New Zealand last week, pursuing a master's degree and subsequently a doctorate. She doesn't need to get afraid, as her father said. She did manage to be alone in New Zealand. Is this still the thing?

Her father told her that she didn't need anyone's confirmation on her seat. Vine Enterprises has appointed her as the new Chief Executive Officer, with her father assuming the role of Chairman.

Her father intended the setup to be like this because somehow he wanted to be hands-on with their businesses, even if it was just at home.

Jade had talked to her father's doctor, and her father could not be tired. She wielded complete authority over their enterprises, yet the weightiest undertakings necessitated her father's signature and imprimatur. So long as her father remained hale and hearty, she was content to acquiesce to any proposal.
