Run.

Ink saw his opening. Nightmare had left his door open and he wasn't going to let this once in a lifetime opportunity go to waste.

He immediately got up and ran to the door, peering out to see if anyone was there. no one. He headed left. All he knew was to run. He kept making his way down the twising hallways, making sure no one was after him or infront of him as he ran.

Then there is was. Daylight. It was from a window. A high one. Ink had been running for a few minutes at this point, and was ready to take this opportunity. He looked around for anything to use to give him height. Over in the corner was a few boxes.  Like the universe wanted him to escape.

He threw it agasint the wall and climbed ontop. He was just too short. So he jumped, and broke the box. Ink let out a string of curses and began to run again, now hearing people behind him. He made too much noise.

Almost falling when turning a corner, he skidded and kept running. He pumped his arms and puffed as he ran faster then he had ever before. It felt like his fake lungs were on fire, but he couldn't stop now. He was so close to his loved ones. So close.

Horror stood at the end of the hallway, playing with his axe to threaten Ink. Ink inhaled sharply and turned the other direction, where he saw Killer.  Same routine but with knives. The next, and last route had Error, him with strings.

Ink let out a cry and backed into a wall.

"Poor thing, he got so close," Horror cooed, coming closer to Ink.  As did the others.

"Just one more turn and there was the exit" Killer taunted. "Back to your room"

"No! no please!" He begged.

This only got him picked up by his throat and dragged back to his room. Killer threw him in there and slammed the door shut. They left, probably going to tell Nightmare about what had happened.

Ink hit his head over and over out of anger. He was so frustrated. 'One more turn'. Just one more turn! He was so close!

Despair washes over Inks bones as he begins to sob hard. He was so close. He just wanted to go home to his loved ones.

Nightmare opened the door, chuckling at the sight infront of him.

"Heard you tried to run," he laughed and kneeled down to Ink.

Ink didn't respond but flipped Nightmare off.

"Thanks for making it easier," he purred and pulled out a whip.
