Obi-wan stumbles as he turns around and stares at me with glossy eyes and swollen pink undereyes. He looked shocked. As if he just saw someone come back to life, which, I suppose, is what he is feeling. "Anakin..."
I guess he thought that that would work.
"I'm not that weak Obi-wan! I can survive that!" My voice is gruff and obviously strained.
"Anakin! Do you not feel any pain?" He yells at me.
"Pain isn't important! I will make you pay for doing this to me!"
"I need to finish the job Anakin. You're too dangerous." Tears are thick in his eyes, on the verge of falling. His stance changes as he grabs his lightsaber and ignites it.
I drag him by the leg closer to me with the Force.
"No, I need to finish the job."
[---]Sleep went by too quickly for my liking. It was kinda funny. Sleep always feels like a minute, when, for all you know, you've been asleep for an eternity.
Yet the thing is, you almost always knew that time passed by, you almost always can tell that you were unconscious for hours. Even if you're in a room with no windows, even if you're in the dead of space. You could tell.
The only thing that made sleep feel longer is dreams, but many don't even have any. I cannot say the same for me, but I generally didn't manage to remember them after being awake for a few minutes. And nine times out of ten, it was a nightmare.
I got up gradually, the silence of my apartment ringing in my ears unpleasantly
Slowly, I got up.
Slowly, I showered.
Slowly, I brushed my hair.
Slowly, I brushed my teeth.
Slowly, I got dressed.Life went by unbearably slowly. Unaturally, almost. But at least, when it was going horribly leisurely, it was when I was alone. That way, it wasn't as painful, but it did leave me with only my thoughts on most days.
That day, I was numb. Unthinking, unfeeling, unwanting. Numb.
By brain felt dry, my thoughts never lingered, my hope wasn't there.
On days like thise, death seemed almost like a sweet escape.
I can't die yet. The Emporer still needs me, and I need revenge. Death is for those who are weak. I am above them.
The only feeling I felt was a bad one. A growing, looming hunch that the day would be a horrible one.
Many days I feel that way, so I doubt it will be too unbearable.
-
It had come time for me to eat breakfast.
I made eggs from a random creature, likely from an insignificant planet in an insignificant sector of the galaxy, and as a drink I have some sort of juice.
I didn't really pay attention to the food, I just ate it.While I was eating, I found that I mainly just picked at my food, having a bite here and there, not being very hungry for whatever reason.
I had only finished my juice by the time I got a call on my commlink, and I immediately went to pick it up.
-
"Today you need to get down to Corosaunt."
"Why, Master?" I said, kneeling down to a hologram of the Emporer.
"Don't tell me you forgot!" He laughed at me.
I didn't respond.
"Soon, I will present you to the galaxy!"
