Year: 132ac

Location: King's Landing

For the Kingdom of King's Landing, the night was just like any other. Cold. Breezy by the sea's water. Many slept in their houses while others were by the street already drunk since the moon had risen. To the townspeople, this night was like no other... unless you were a Targaryen who lived inside of the Red Keep.

Before a nurse went to check on King Viserys, Dralarys, daughter of The King, had been crying in silence while trying to make her way over to Aegon's room without being heard in between the walls.

A few days ago before being banned from the meetings, Ser Erryk Cargyll, knight and protector of both Prince Aegon II Targaryen and Dralarys Targaryen under Aegon's favor, had privately spoken to her about a matter that had concerned her while she was attending to her dragon, Valgan, just outside of King's Landing due to his size.

Valgan had been eating large amounts of fish and sea creatures. He was not used to King's Landing or the company of Dralarys's guests, but he would watch her behavior to see if she was okay with the people she brought over. Their bond is unique. Understanding with witnessing emotions and vocal ranges.

Ser Erryk kept his distance from Valgan, not only because Valgan is a dragon, but because Dragons are unpredictable and terrifying. No other guards or anyone in general would come across the area. Not even the spies that Alicent had for Dralarys. Valgan would have smelt them like he did when Dralarys was walking with Ser Erryk.

Ser Erryk had placed down something to sit on the ground while he watched The Princess take out leftover fish bone from Valgan's teeth. This took some time since she was careful to inspect Valgan from time to time, but not as much as she'd liked. Ser Erryk was confident enough to have taken a nap while she did this.

Dralarys had finished and sat next to Ser Erryk.

It was nice staying away from such a crowded city. A home that was never her home to begin with since birth. Ser Erryk had been away by then. "May I have your permission to discuss something with you?"

Dralarys looks at him. He is serious. "You know you do not have to ask, Ser Erryk."

He didn't have to ask, but he was already accustomed to it when him and his brother were sworn into Knighthood. "It's about Queen Alicent Hightower." Dralarys turns her body towards him, now having full attention on this matter. "They plan on making Aegon become King once King Viserys passes. They are predicting that his death is soon since he has not been able to get out of bed without being tired all the time."

Dralarys knew of this, but kept denying it herself. She tried to think of many ways how Alicent would or could do it.

Why defy a King's heir?

"Go on."

Erryk nods. "They have plans." Erryk is still. Dralarys waits. "To get rid of what the Late Queen Aemma's children has left behind and the next of kin that follows. Except for you, Princess Dralarys. Alicent wants to keep your heir and then get rid of you."

What surprised him was how The Princess was reacting. She wasn't reacting at all. She was still like water from The Sea.

The Game of the Throne is a chess piece and everyone was playing it so cleverly. Dralarys had yet to make a move while others moved their pawns forward.

"I want you to swear something to me." Ser Erryk nods at her. "If my father, The King, dies. I want you to do everything Aegon, Otto, or Alicent asks. Even my husband, Aemond." This is Dralarys moving her White Knight first. She would have to use her King, later. "When they have him ready to bury or burned, take the crown that is rightfully owned to the Princess and future Queen, Rhaenyra. Try to take your brother with you, if you can. Swear your allegiance to her."
