Author's POV

The room echoed with the relentless thuds of the punching bag being mercilessly pounded. Kang Hana had been carrying the weight of stress throughout the entire month, all thanks to her client's reckless antics. The renowned actress, Kim Mun Young, had ventured out secretly to meet her boyfriend. Unfortunately, this clandestine rendezvous had attracted an overzealous fan who began stalking her. Consequently, Mun Young found herself in a precarious situation, forcing her to make a late-night distress call to Hana, urgently summoning her for assistance.

Upon their return to Mun Young's residence, the actress's manager nearly erupted with anger, casting sharp words in both their directions. Consequently, Hana found herself relieved of her duties, but that decision hardly fazed her. In her experience, Kim Mun Young had been one of the least troublesome clients she'd ever encountered. While Mun Young could be a handful on occasion, dealing with wealthy, entitled brats had been far more challenging.

Kang Hana held the title of the most exceptional fighter and bodyguard within the SecurityArc organisation, a renowned name in the realm of security services. SecurityArc boasted a stellar reputation, catering to the protection needs of top artists, royal families, and influential politicians, and Hana was the pinnacle of their expertise.

Despite the adversity she had faced during her early years as a female bodyguard, she had earned the respect of all those around her. Her dedication and prowess had made her a force to be reckoned with, transcending gender biases.

Engrossed in her training, Hana remained oblivious to the blonde-headed figure lurking near the doorstep, studying her every move.

"What do you want, Choi Soobin?" Hana inquired, her expression inscrutable as she confronted him.

Soobin casually remarked, "Your skills seem to have dulled a bit."

"Just get to the damn point, Choi," Minji interjected, irritation etched across her features.

Not to mention, Hana was notorious for her perpetually grim disposition, she hadn't cracked a smile in the seven years she'd dedicated to SecurityArc, not even when she clinched Employee of the Year or amassed countless gold medals.

"Hmm... well, here's the thing. You have a new client," Soobin announced.

Hana nodded, prompting her to ask, "Who is it?"

Soobin hesitated briefly before disclosing, "The royal family of Daegu, the Gyeongju clan to be precise, and their crowned prince, Choi Beomgyu."

"What?" Minji blurted out.

The prospect of safeguarding a prince did not sit well with Hana. She had experienced firsthand how royal clients could be even more troublesome than actors and singers, especially considering her turbulent history with the prince of Jeju Island, who had once made disturbing advances towards her. Hana's patience had grown increasingly frayed, and she couldn't restrain herself any longer, delivering a resounding punch to his face. Unsurprisingly, her actions led to her forfeiting her client.

"Soobin, there's no way I'm working with a damn prince, you know what happened last time."

"See I know, but they have asked us for the best of the best because the prince is under potential danger, he has so many people stalking him, and trust me I don't think anyone can be as bad as the prince of Jeju."

Hana contemplated before firmly saying, "No."

"Hana, you're being difficult, come on, it will only be until all the stalkers die off, which won't be that long if you're with him."
