Love you too, bye," I said as I hung up the phone Kai looked up at me with those big ol' eyes curiously. "What's up baby girl?" I asked as I grabbed my Stanley off the counter to drink Some water. "TeTe's coming over?" She asked as I nodded. "Yeah she's gonna come pick up you and Ali. Y'all are gonna hang with her and granny tonight," I said as she dropped her face. "I wanna hang out with you tonight mama," I pouted, squatting down to her size. "I promise I will hang with you tomorrow and we can do whatever you want okay? But tonight is mommy and I's time to hang out with just the adults okay?" I said as she shrugged letting a single tear drop down her face. "Aw come here stink. Don't cry," I said as I hugged her. A'ja walked in the house with Alijah on her hip and was confused at the sight. "What's wrong pumpkin?" She asked and that set A'kai off. "Mama doesn't want to hang out with meeee," she said as she full on started crying. I looked up and A who was trying not to laugh. "Kai baby. Stop crying. Mama loves hanging out with you, but we are going somewhere that kids can not go. That's the reality baby girl. We can do something special tomorrow but you can't come with us tonight I'm sorry honey,"she said as she set Alijah on the barstool. "Mama look!" She said holding a paper towards me. I gasped in parent awe. "Did you make this boo-boo? It's so pretty," I complimented her paint blobs. I grabbed a thumb tack and stuck it onto the bulletin with the rest of their arts and crafts stuff. The doorbell rang and I already knew it was Asani. "Koi you wanna go let TeTe in?" I asked as she nodded wiping her face. She opened the front door and Sani came in hugging her. "Why are you crying?" She asked as she saw her face. "I wanna go with mama," she said as Sani gasped. "So you don't wanna hang out with me? Wow and to think I was gonna take you to the zoo," she said as Kai stopped. "It's alright I'll just take Ali," she said messing with the five year old. "No! I wanna go too," she said making us laugh. "Let's go pack you bag honey. Lili, you coming with me?" She said as she held her arms out for the toddler who gladly let her pick her up. They went up to the girls' room and suddenly it was quiet. "Damn I can't remove the last time I could hear myself think like this," A said as i laughed, pulling her closer "You look so pretty mama. And you smell good too, what's this?" I said as i put my face into her neck. She giggled pushing away. "Stop that tickles. I missed you so much baby," she said as I sighed, pressing a kiss onto the side of her head. This was our first time being in the same house together for about three weeks and I will say I definitely was struggling not being with my wife. That's the only thing that sucks about us playing for two teams in different states. "I know baby, I missed you so much more. Did Angel text you the address yet?" I asked as she nodded her head. "Yeah I got it it's like teeny minutes away so we can leave out in an hour. Did you decided on what your wearing?" She asked as I nodded my head. "Yeah, you?" I asked as she nodded too. "Yeah boy I wanna see what you picked. I might change my mind," I went up to the room and pulled out the outfit, showing her. "Oh wait that's actually perfect it matches my outfit to a T," she said as I laughed. "I'm just like that baby," I said as she laughed. The kids walked in with Asani behind them, holding their bags. "Alright say bye moms," she said as they came and hugged us. Alijah of course was not happy when she realized we weren't coming too. More specifically, when she realized A wasn't coming. She was so attached to her mommy. It had to be a breastfed baby thing. "I'll see you later okay mama?" She said as she consoled the upset toddler. She nodded as she slid her head on Asani's shoulder. "Alright come on girls. Let's go Ahvaz some fun!" Sani said as she walked them to her car and they left. "Kid free. Haven't felt this way in so long," I mumbled to myself as I got dressed. "Damn baby mama. You look real sexy," A said as I smacked my lips. "I told you about that baby mama stuff A," I said jokingly. She giggled as she got dressed herself. Once we were both finished we looked in the mirror and damn did we look good. "Let's take a picture," A'ja said as she leaned in kissing me. I smiled pulling away, before snapping our picture. "Oh that's really cute baby. Can I post it?" A asked as I shrugged. "Of course bae you know I don't care," I said laughing.
