As evening descends upon the realm of Embers, a sinister transformation unfolds. The blood-red sky, once ablaze with unholy fires, deepens into a brooding twilight.
Namjoon chuckles, shaking his head "Apparently,demons like me can't survive on Earth as Yoongi said.It was a long shot anyway" He assures with a sad smile
"And I can't force you to stay ,no matter how badly I wish you to" He sighs,looking at the grey ceiling of the chambers
Turns out ,the demon failed to not fuss over Seokjin's wound and led them back to the chambers,away from everyone's gaze.
Seokjin was too shocked to protest and had let himself treated again by the demon.Namjoon only stopped when he was sure it will heal in no time .The gold bracelet however was replaced with a new one and Seokjin only wished he doesn't destroy this too .
He brushes the tears that continue to stream down Seokjin's face "It's something I don't have any control over .Our time together is limited,just like these flowers.But I want you to bloom bright, see you grow and laugh with me .For the rest of our time together,no matter how short it is"
He presses a quick kiss to his lips "Because for me ,it is .Too short .Even if I am gifted an eternity to spend with you,it will be still insufficient.I will always crave for more .And that's selfish of me but I refuse to care or feel guilty about it"
Namjoon says honestly,neck high "I don't care if it's centuries,years, months or weeks ,I want to see you happy and healthy.I don't need anything else Seokjin.You don't owe me anything but the warm feeling I get everytime you smile at me .I want to keep feeling that twinge in my heart everytime you look at me with those pretty eyes of yours.I want to keep feeling the sweet swell of love in my heart as long as you let me .And even then,I would continue to nurture that feeling in my heart till the day I die"
His words were both poignant and heartfelt, his emotions raw and genuine as he held Seokjin's hands.
Seokjin gazes into the demon's eyes ,with a mixture of love and sadness "Namjoon" he whispers, his voice quivering, but Namjoon wasn't done
He wiped away his tears, managing a fragile smile "I'll cherish every moment we have, every smile, every touch, every kiss. I want to make the most of this time and when the day comes for us to part, I'll hold onto those memories forever"
Namjoon drops his head on his shoulder, hugging him close "I wished I could just follow you to your Realm ,Dove.But that's not possible for someone like me"
He sniffles into his ear "So I will be just content in spending the remaining time with you,here"
Seokjin was too stunned to respond all this time.But now ,as he had calmed down in Namjoon's embrace,things were starting to get clearer
His stupid demon was out there on a war he was destined to loose , fighting with every fiber of his being to beg for a way for them to be together after the contract ends .He don't know if he should be touched or upset with the gesture.
