Seokjin was escorted by Namjoon to the Throne room .He was clinging to his arm ,anxiety and nervousness building in waves as they passed the grand Entrance
He had gone quiet and fearful ,only looking forward into the dark path , answering to Namjoon's questions with light nods
"Steady" He halts when Namjoon's arm rests on the small of his back
"You are trembling.I told you , there's nothing to fear" Namjoon assures him for the dozenth time .And just like everytime , Seokjin says "I can't help it"
"Appearing weak would only make things worse" Namjoon could feel the nervousness rolling out of the Omega and he wants to protect him from the ruthless trials of the Kingdom.But at the same time,he knew it was inevitable.
His words were meant to assure Seokjin but it only riles the latter up "I am weak but I will try my best to not embarass you by crying"
"Embarass me ? That's what you-" Namjoon closes his eyes and takes a deep breath.There's no use wasting energy to convince Seokjin. "Just stick close to me and you will live"

They walk past the black ornate double doors ,guarded by two demons with horns in place of their eyes and for the first time instead of fearing them ,a giggle escapes Seokjin's lips.
Namjoon halts,turning to him "Something funny ?"
"Nothing" Seokjin shooks his head and purses his lips to suppress his giggles
The doors swing open to reveal a chamber of tall ceilings and Seokjin's initial amusement replaces with fear when he finds humanoid skeletons fixed into the walls and bony chandeliers hanging off the ceiling
He tightens his grip over Namjoon's arm t and without sparing a glance at the now trembling Omega , Namjoon answers "They aren't recent .We don't hunt humans anymore"
That doesn't relax Seokjin but he tries to breath and train his gaze to the floor in attempts of avoiding anything that might trigger him
He meant when he said he won't embarass Namjoon by crying out of fear .But he might need a moment or ten for himself when he is left alone to wail in isolation
The room was lined up with statues of ancient Ember rulers , Namjoon's ancestors,parents and great grandparents .
Namjoon didn't glance at any of them as he walks straight towards the platform where his brother and sister-in-law,the Ember's King and Queen sat ,holding an odd expression.
They were aware of his visit to the Bargainer Realm and even though they knew why he went there,it was clear that they didn't like his decision
Fairly Understandable.Especially his Brother would never want him to go through the same fate like their brother
