although the night was still young, it was going good for the two young adults. laughter and giggles bounced between y/n's living room walls and the thought of sex hadn't even crossed their minds, is this what adulting felt like?

kageyama felt it would be a little awkward as the only impression they had was their naked bodies but apparently not.  it feels as though they were already friends in a past life or whatever corny shit people say.

"ok so, tell me one embarrassing high school experience." y/n asked, calming down from her wild fit of laughter.

kageyama smiled as he looked at her, she looked radiant. of course, y/n always looked better than amazing but tonight especially. no fancy makeup or dresses, just her in her natural element. comfy hair with comfy clothes on a comfy person slumped on a comfy chair. kageyama just loved it.

"hello? i know i'm beautiful but you have to answer the question" y/n giggled, dramatically brushing off imaginary dust off her shoulder.

"beautiful couldn't even describe you right now." kageyama's deep voice penetrated her ears. since when was he so smooth? kageyama even shocked himself with his confidence but played it off with a smirk.

y/n smiled shyly, feeling her heart beat slightly quicker from the compliment. y/n was always a little bit of a lover girl, she just had to force herself not to be after learning what the male species were like, but sometimes she likes to indulge. falling for certain people quicker than she should, fantasise about a future with them, make playlists about them, what could she say? y/n loved to love.

"stop you tease, answer my question!" y/n smiled bashfully, playfully hitting kageyama's scarily sturdy shoulder.

"alright, hm. ok, so, i used to be a huge fortnight nerd- ok, for me to tell this story, you need to stop laughing... thank you. anyways, i did the orange justice dance in front of my head teacher and accidentally slapped him, making his wig fall off. he chased me around the whole school and i was about to get away when i tripped on a milk box i drank earlier in the day and threw on the ground. moral of the story is don't litter." once kageyama finished, y/n had bursted out laughing.

"y-you're lying!" y/n struggled to get out, barely breathing properly from how much she was laughing.

"sadly i'm not, i wasn't allowed in my next practice match because of it." kageyama sighed to himself in disappointment.

"wow, i'd kill myself" y/n sighed to calm herself down once again from the laughter.

"thanks, really helps with my ptsd" kageyama rolled his eyes while y/n chuckled.

"i'm hungry, are you?" y/n asked.

"yeah, a little" kageyama put his hand on his stomach as he now acknowledged the emptiness.
