a month has passed since the incident and a lot has happened. to give a quick summary, semi and kageyama have been in a internet feud ever since and everyone has been talking about it online. edits of kageyama's video and semi's response has been circulating, the internet has been divided into team semi (they call themselves eitafenders- a combination of eita and defenders) and team kageyama (they call themselves tobipologists (a mixture between tobio and apologists). articles, talk shows and headlines debating whose side they're on as well as depicting the videos made by both men that make fun of each other, and there were many of them.
for example, semi had released a 'light hearted' diss track that had taken the world by storm, kageyama respond by building a swimming pool with the words "semi eita suck my ass" engraved inside of it. the sassy man apocalypse was real.
in terms of y/n and kageyama, they had not spoken a word to each other. y/n had fully cut him off after that disaster of a video he had made and while kageyama wanted nothing more than to get her back, he knew that would entail an apology to semi which he could never do.
the team was ever so entertained by this, specifically suna as he was a top tier instigator in both their comments. kenma and kiyoko were also very entertained with this, on kenma's recent stream, he did a timeline of event with kiyoko while playing fortnight.
y/n was truly tired of this however, as much as this was funny for her, it also pained her that kageyama was very willing to throw their relationship away for the sake of his pride.
so, stupidly, she invited kenma, kiyoko and akaashi over for dinner. why was this stupid? because they convinced her to do something about this said drama.
"wait, ok i have an idea that may be stupid but could work." akaashi suddenly spoke as he paused the movie they were all watching.
"we only just started liking you keiji so be careful." kenma joked as he pushed his hood down.
"the only thing that semi and kageyama have in common is y/n, she's the only person that could potentially convince them to become civil." akaashi stated, y/n nodded in agreement along with kenma and kiyoko.
"so, what if we invite them over for dinner without them knowing and get them to kiss and make up?" akaashi suggested, a playful smile dancing across his lips.
"you know what, i love you." kiyoko cackled.
"no fucking way, i'm not doing that!" y/n demanded, she was barely on talking terms with semi due to his childish behaviour and cut kageyama off completely. why would she put herself in a position like this because they had problems?
"come on, it will be so funny." kenma persuaded.
"plus, it does eliminate the risk of semi blurting something out about you and kageyama." akaashi added.
