Making up is hard

Nash stood in over the sink in one of the bedrooms and threw hand fulls of cold water over himself, soaking the wooden floor around him. He was still angry but it was not the blind rage he had felt not too long ago. He doused himself again and rubbed his hands across his face and through his hair.

The blood had gone, none of it was his anyway but it had made his hands sticky. He also had been covered in a sheen of sweat that the dirt from the basement had clung too. In short, Nash just felt grimy. He'd take a shower later but for now this would have to do. He looked at his reflection but saw nothing that pleased him. The look in his eyes was still half crazed, his hair was wild and his mouth was set in a grim line.

Turning away, he grabbed his clothes from the bed and pulled them on.  He stalked back to the bar with a scowl painted across his face. Nash still didn't feel right, something was missing but he didn't know what. Some of his brothers clapped him on his shoulders and back, congratulating him on an impressive show. A beer was pressed into his hands and he downed it in one. As he lowered the bottle he made eye contact with someone across the crowded room and in that instant, the world stopped spinning.

Honey was sat flanked by her friends who were laughing and drinking but Honey's eyes were huge in her pale face. She wanted so much to go to him but after what had been said downstairs she had no idea on how he would react to her. The void between them yawned and Honey remained seated, hardly breathing. Suddenly Nash looked away and the spell was broken.

Honey gasped, reeling in almost physical pain from rejection. She pushed herself up and tried to leave but before she had taken more than a few steps, someone's hands were one her shoulders. She didn't react at all, uncaring of whose hands they might be; She felt numb, humiliated and isolated. The hands on her body were guiding her, from behind, out of the throng and into the centre of the room.

The music changed and Honey found herself pinned against someone else's hard chest, their arms wound tightly round her. The reality of her position suddenly hit her and she tried to push away but she was held her fast; Her tears blinding as she tried to escape again.

'Stop fighting me.' Nash murmured softly against her hair as he gently eased her head against his shoulder and swayed her lightly to the music.

'James!' Honey gasped but the swirling emotions within her stopped her from saying anymore. She just let herself rest against his chest and tried to listen to his heart. Tears ran unheeded down her cheeks but Nash didn't notice. He was too busy taking in the sensation of his girl  in his arms. This was what he had been missing.

Why had they been fighting? Why had they been apart so long? He couldn't remember. He'd make it up to her though, it must have been something he had done, what could she possibly do wrong. Then he remembered what that fucker had said and he tensed. Honey felt it and reacted as if he had burned her, pulling her whole body away in an instant but Nash wasn't having that.

He pulled her back to him and looped her arms around his neck. 'Stop running from me sweetheart.' he whispered. Nash couldn't help his hand cupping her backside. Honey could feel his body next to hers and it was making her heart flutter.  His other hand slipped beneath her jacket and held her firmly.

'Damn!' Nash mumbled when he felt the bare skin. He hadn't really noticed what Honey was wearing til now but as he looked down he saw the tight lacings of the top had pushed her breasts high and in this position they were forced even higher. From what he could feel, the top was obviously backless, hidden under the thick jacket but now he needed to see her.

They were still swaying to the music but Honey was acutely aware that James body had changed, his hands caressing, creating a deep aching need deep inside her own body that needed satisfying. She looked up at him cautiously and found him staring back at her with an intensity that almost set her aflame.
