"Wow, Mingyu look! I think this one would suits your mom better." Said Yeoreum as she pointed her finger to the black loafer shoes.

"Woah, it's really nice. I think I'm gonna choose this one for my mom. I think you and my mom have the same shoe size, why don't you try it? I wanna see how it'll look like." Said Mingyu.

Yeoreum tried the shoes and it fits perfectly to her.

"Woah, it looks good on you too." Mingyu is literally in awe looking at her feet wearing the shoes.

Yeoreum stared at Mingyu. Somehow, after Mingyu complimenting her that, she felt really happy. Maybe he's not complimenting about how cute she looks right now or how beautiful her hair is or anything, but with him saying the shoes looks good on her is already enough for now.

"Hey, since you said that. I'm actually gonna get one for myself." Said Yeoreum.

"What?! No, no. Let me be the one to pay it. Since you helped me, as return I'm buying you the shoes." He gave her a reassuring smile.

"But-"

"Nope, not gonna bicker about it. I've decided I will be the one paying for it." He insisted and Yeoreum couldn't protest but to agree.

"Aww.. So charming, just date me already." She whispered to herself as she intertwined all of her fingers together, staring at Mingyu with puppy eyes who's now busy talking to the sales assistant about the shoes.

"What?" He turned his head to her.

"Huh? Nothing." She shook her head.

After settling with the shoes, Yeoreum wouldn't ever stop saying her thanks to Mingyu for buying her the shoes. Mingyu insisted her to stop because she helped him picked the best shoes for his mom and in return he bought the shoes for her.

"But.. I'm kinda feeling a bit guilty. Maybe lunch will be my treat!" Exclaimed Yeoreum.

Mingyu chuckled.

"Hey, don't do that. I'm a guy and it'll look weird if I let a girl pay for the lunch." He frowned.

"It's not weird. We're friends and friends don't have such rules like only guy friends gets to pay for lunch." Yeoreum rolled her eyes, shaking her head. Mingyu thought about how funny and considerate she is compared to his other friends.

"Alright. But let's not do that. Let's divide ourselves. You'll pay for the drinks and I'll pay for the foods. Fair?" He raised an eyebrow with a smile.

"Hmm.. Okay then."

The two are currently having their lunch together while chitchatting. This is a moment that Yeoreum had always dream of. Maybe Mingyu don't find it as a date at all but for Yeoreum this sure feels like a date. How she wish the time would stop so she could spend endless time with her beloved Mingyu.

"Seokmin isn't really fond of Jooyoung." He stated.

"Huh?" Hearing the name, Yeoreum definitely could feel jealousy in her heart.

"He really hates it whenever he sees me talking to her. I can't help it, she's my classmate. I mean I get that he doesn't like her but she's my friend." He shrugged before he stuffed a spoonful of food to his mouth.

"Maybe she've done something that turned him off? I don't know." Yeoreum raised an eyebrow as she slightly tilted her head.

"Yeah. Because Seokmin used to have a crush on her but she ended up dating another guy so.." Mingyu shrugged.

"Oh, I see. Is she still dating that guy?" She furrowed her eyebrows.

"Yeah."

Suddenly, Yeoreum didn't feel jealous anymore when she learned that Jooyoung is currently dating someone. Which clearly means, Jooyoung isn't interested with Mingyu and Mingyu probably aren't interested with her as well.
