"Hi, Mingyu!" Yeoreum greeted the moment she saw Mingyu.

"Hey." Mingyu didn't even bother to look nor smile at her, the way he greeted her back in a cold way, it made Yeoreum sad.

"Oh my.. I hope he's okay." She pouted.

"What's wrong?" Haeyeon nudged her best friend.

"It seems like Mingyu is not okay." She muttered.

"Everyone have their ups and downs. Maybe he's currently in his downs." Haeyeon shrugged soon after.

"I wonder what happened to him though."

"It's okay, we can ask him later." Haeyeon patted her best friend's shoulder. Yeoreum heaved a sigh as she keep watching Mingyu walking away. All these times, she've never seen him looking so gloomy like that.

Both of them headed to the field, Mingyu and his teammates will have their morning practice today. Sitting down, Yeoreum tried to look for Mingyu. He was nowhere to be seen and soon, the practice started without Mingyu.

Yeoreum is really worried about him. Mingyu had never missed any of the practices.

But soon, she saw Mingyu entering the field with Jooyoung beside him. She hate what she's seeing. It hurts her, even though Jooyoung does have a boyfriend, but seeing her being with Mingyu like that certainly makes her feel jealous.

And finally, Mingyu laughed.

How her heart shattered into millions of pieces

'I wasn't the one to put a smile on his face when he's having a bad day.' She thought, eyes still fixated at the two.

Yeoreum grabbed the two bottles of water, she intended to give one of it to Mingyu, but not anymore now. Trying to hold her tears. Yeoreum stood up and is ready to leave when someone hold her shoulder, stopping her.

"Yeoreum?"

Yeoreum turned around with red eyes, Mingyu's surprised to see her like that. His mouth went slightly opened as he stared at her in bafflement.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked.

Yeoreum looked around and noticed that Jooyoung had left.

"I am." She answered.

"Sorry about earlier. I was really in a bad mood, stressed with whatever that's happening. But, I'm fine now." He smiled. Seeing his smile, Yeoreum knew very much that it's her weakness.

But soon, she frowned. She wants know so bad what's making him stressed, why was he in a bad mood. She wants know every single thing, she wants be the person who Mingyu will share everything to. She wants to be the person who could comfort him whenever he's having a bad day, the way Jooyoung does.

She wants to be someone special and meaningful to him.

Yeoreum cried as she fell on her knees.

With the thought of her not being who she wants to be, it makes her sad.

"Hey, why are you crying? Are you okay? I'm really sorry about earlier, Yeoreum." Mingyu kneeled down, softly patting her back. He felt bad thinking the reason why she cried was because of him acting cold to her earlier.

"Are you okay now?" Asked Mingyu the moment Yeoreum had calmed herself down.

"Yeah."

"What happened, did you fought with your best friend? Or was it because of earlier?" He raised an eyebrow.

"It's.. Nothing."

"Come on Yeoreum, you don't cry for nothing." He frowned.

Yeoreum stayed silent for a few seconds, not moving nor even looking at him and it's only making Mingyu felt even gultier.
