"So, how's it going?" Wonwoo queried.
"It was fine."
"You don't look like you're excited at all. You know how you used to be excited whenever you're talking about Mingyu even without me asking." Uttered Wonwoo, with a small frown.
Yeoreum took a glance at Wonwoo, raising her eyebrow after hearing his remark.
"Exactly, Wonwoo."
"It's not that I regret it, but the Mingyu I knew from the wishes are different from the real Mingyu. I knew Mingyu's a kind man but, argh.. I really don't know." She slowly pulled her hair due to stress.
"Stop pulling your hair, you'll be bald."
"Sounds good to me."
"Do you need a hug?" His question made Yeoreum to give him a scowl. But with Wonwoo staring at her like that, it made her blushed.
"I'm just asking. It seems like you're gonna cry anytime soon." He shrugged.
"I'm not gonna cry." She denied.
Wonwoo smiled.
"You lied." He knew, he could detect lies.
And Yeoreum remembered that Wonwoo actually have the ability to know whether someone is lying or is saying the truth. She rolled her eyes thinking of how annoying that ability really is.
"Fine, I want to cry." There, she cried.
"Come here." He opened his arms for her. Yeoreum stood up from her bed and walked her way to Wonwoo before hugging him.
"You know, the amount of time I hugged you are a lot more than the amount of time I hugged Mingyu." She said before chuckling.
"You like to hug me more." Wonwoo tightened the hug making Yeoreum feels suffocated.
"Ugh.. I don't like to hug you. I just don't have anything to hug." She said whilst struggling to free herself from him.
"You lied again." He smiled in satisfaction.
"I hate that I can't lie to you." She mumbled.
"Come on, Yeoreum. Why would you even lie to me? I'm your genie, you're my human." Yeoreum didn't know if Wonwoo's teasing her or not, but she definitely feel irked.
"Shut up, seriously." She broke the hug and took a seat on her desk chair.
"So, why are you crying?" He asked.
"I don't know, maybe I have high hopes for Mingyu that I ended up hurting myself." She shrugged before she cupped her face, sulking and inconsolable.
Wonwoo only stood there, watching her sighing a lot. He didn't know what else he could do for her. He is sad to see her like that, but there really isn't anything he could do about it.
"Eonni, mom told me to tell you to get ready." Informed Gaeul.
"Huh? Where are we going?" She asked, curious.
"Dinner!!" Gaeul rushed to her room to get herself ready.
"That's a very rare thing." She shrugged.
"Hey, instead of sending me back, why don't you just let me join you guys? Though I'm invisible. I just wanna go out for a walk." Said Wonwoo.
"Okay."
Wonwoo waited for her outside whilst she got herself ready. When she's finally done, she came out with Gaeul as well.
"Eonni, why do you never talk about your Mingyu oppa again? You usually talk about him everyday until my ears bleed." Wondered Gaeul.
Yeoreum didn't say anything, she only stared at her younger sister with an eyebrow raised.
