"But eonni, why did you lied about it to him?" Gaeul raised an eyebrow.
"Ahh!!" She screamed in pain when Yeoreum hit her head with a book.
"You're using the wrong method! I've explained it to you for three times! Do it again!" She berated the younger one. Gaeul hissed, rolling her eyes in annoyance.
Gaeul asked her elder sister to help her with her homework and there they are. Not when Gaeul suddenly talked about Wonwoo which pissed Yeoreum off.
"Why would you even lied to him? You know he could detect lies." Gaeul murmured.
"Because it's the right thing to do." She mumbled.
"Huh? But, why? How is that the right thing?" Gaeul tilted her head, staring at her sister in puzzlement.
Yeoreum took a moment to think. There is a lot to say, however she didn't know how she could let everything out.
"Because I want him to achieve his dream. I want him to forget about me, I regret saying that he should remember me as his most amazing human, I wasn't." Yeoreum smiled, but the sad one.
"I really like Wonwoo oppa though.. I missed him." Gaeul mumbled.
"You should get used to his absence, once I make my last wish, we're not gonna see him ever again." Hearing that, Gaeul turned perplexed.
"Is that.. Why you've been avoiding him? Why you haven't been summoning him? Because you want to get used to his absence?" She frowned, waiting for her sister to answer.
Slowly, Yeoreum nodded her head.
"Eonni, you're only hurting yourself."
"Because I don't want to be selfish again!" She grumbled, punching the table which startled Gaeul.
"What if, I'm the only one who's feeling this way?" She whispered, tears starting to fall down her cheeks.
"I told you, Wonwoo oppa clearly feels the same way! I saw it! It was obvious!" Yelled Gaeul indignantly.
"You are selfish, eonni. You're being dishonest with yourself and with Wonwoo oppa. Because of you being dishonest, that is why you ended up being selfish too." Gaeul's utterance silenced her, she knew Gaeul spoke the truth, but it hurts her.
"You only think about yourself, what about Wonwoo oppa?" Gaeul grabbed her belongings as well as her books before she rushed out of Yeoreum's room.
"You're right, Gaeul."
-
"Hey, are you okay?" Haeyeon snapped her fingers in front of Yeoreum's face who've been spacing out for quite a long time.
"Huh? Yeah, I'm fine."
"What's wrong?"
"You girls coming along?" It was Myeongho, who offered to have lunch together.
"Yes, of course." Replied Haeyeon.
'Maybe I won't get a happy ending. But at least, Haeyeon does.' She thought as she stared at the two who's suddenly bickering over small and useless stuffs. Everyday, they're bickering over nothing but it's only making them closer to each other.
Whilst eating, it was only the boys and Haeyeon the ones talking, most of the time, Yeoreum only kept her mouth shut.
"Jooyoung broke up with his boyfriend recently. I felt bad for her, I knew he was a jerk since the beginning." Mingyu told his friends.
"Tch, that's what she gets for not dating me." Seokmin rolled his eyes. The others went silent to see how Seokmin who was just being happy earlier have now became cold.
