Gus looked around the area and noticed Amity, Willow's new friend, was missing.

"Where did your friend go Willow?"

"I don't know." Was all the girl could answer with.

Luz raised an eyebrow in response. "Since when have you known her?"

"Well, I actually met her today, we bumped into each other and she was really nice. I guess she got bored." As soon as those words left Willow's mouth Luz's eyebrows furrowed in suspicion.

Nightfall

Luz and Camila were laying in bed. Camila was applying a pink cream on Luz's skin.

"Why does this cream smell so bad?" Luz asked.

"It's so you don't get acne, sometimes we need to make sacrifices, mija."

Luz looked at her mother. "Camila. If only my grandfather didn't build this house somewhere that wasn't ours, we'd atleast have enough for a T.V."

"Well yes, but I'll work extra hours, besides, with the loan I took, those Narcs won't be bothering us for a while." Camila smiled then continued. "But you also have to study, I've told you a thousand times."

Luz let out a whine to Camila's words. "Yeah...I know.."

"You know Luz, you've always been a very aggressive girl. But when I used to hold you in my arms, you'd always fall asleep with a smile."

"I didn't know...Mama." Luz said half asleep, Camila looked down at her daughter and noticed her sleeping soundly with a smile on her face.

Camila smiled. "I hope you finish your book, Hija."

Later that night

Luz was awoken by the sound of talking nearby. "Uh.."

Camila was standing outside, with two other men. A car was parked, it was too dark to see if anyone was inside.

"We'll think up a price for next time." A voice that belonged to a man said.

"What? But why?" Camila asked.

Another man spoke in response. "Lady, you're in no position to debate, you're living somewhere that isn't yours, don't you think that's illegal." The man chuckled.
"I already have this month's pay, just give me more time and we'll leave this place." Camila said.

The other man spoke again. "The longer you stay here, the higher the price is gonna go up lady. We don't usually do this, but be grateful that we don't kick you out by force."

Just then, the car door opened and a familiar voice spoke. "We aren't the right people to be talking to about legalities."

Amity stepped out of the vehicle. "Good evening miss Noceda. We meet again." A dark shadow covered her face.

Camila's eyes widened in shock. "You're the girl from this afternoon."

Amity spoke again. "I know you're carrying a weapon on you. We however don't have any weapons tonight. Because when I'm in this state, I tend to be more aggressive than usual. Besides, I'm not here for the money." Her pupils were white, with blood dripping from her eyes.

Luz, who was currently peaking through the curtains, widened her eyes. "Is that Amity? What's going on?" She thought.

In one swift motion Amity grabbed Camila and ripped her torso, making a crack sound audible to whoever was nearby. Amity's left arm was covered with Camila's blood.

Upon seeing her mother, lifeless, Luz was unable to speak.

BAM!

Amity slammed her arm inside the house and grabbed Luz, she threw the girl outside onto the ground.

Amity eyed Luz as she spoke. "The good thing about places as poor as this is that you can do just about anything and the government won't even notice. I came to this town for two reasons, to kill Eda, and find someone to test out this prototype."

One of the men ran to Amity with a small bag. "Here you go."

"Mama.." Luz cried.

"Finding out you know Eda means I can bring her to me. We've had various people try out this drug, but most of them end up dead. Let's see what'll happen to you." Amity said as she pulled out a syringe from the bag.

Luz reached her hand out towards her mother. "Ma-" Amity stepped on her arm to stop her from reaching out. She punched her arm making Luz let out a cry of pain. She purged the syringe in Luz's arm.

"If you live through this I'll be watching you, Luz."

Luz's body was lying unconscious on the ground.

One of the men spoke. "Is she dead?"

"No."

"Miss Lilith we just have to wait now." Amity thought.

"Tsk..." Amity kneeled on the ground as blood rapidly rushed out of her body. "Damn it."

"Are you okay?" One of the men asked.

Amity spoke between heavy breaths "I've lost too much blood...I need a transfusion...for now, do what you want with these two...And I want that house demolished, just don't kill the girl."
