I Promise I'll Call You Everynight!

A/N-Hey Guys! Reeve here! Sorry I haven't wrote anything in a while! I've been dealing with writers block and couldn't think of anything to write about! Thankfully I've kind of got an idea for another story! By the way I hope you guys like my stories and that they aren't terrible. Idk if I should be embarrassed of my stories or proud of them tbh. Well anyways here's another one...

You and your childhood best friend Leonard McCoy have been married for 5 years now. Ever since you first met him, your life had changed and you were always so sad and lonely when he wasn't around. You two were inseparable as kids. Most people you knew figured that clinginess had left you both once you two had matured, but nope you both were still inseparable and very clingy to one another to this day, but only the two of you knew that.

Leonard works as a full time doctor, and he was ranked the top doctor in the world. You have a small part time job to keep yourself busy instead of waiting at home all alone for your man to come home. Ever since you've known him, you have always felt empty, lost, and sad whenever the two of you are apart. And you always worry for him even thought there is never anything to worry about, which he reminds you about that every single day. But you still end up missing him all the time no matter what.

One day when you and Leonard both had a day off from work, the phone rang. It was the government informing you and Leonard, that because Leonard is the highest ranked doctor, he is urgently needed to work aboard the enterprise. They needed a high skilled doctor on the enterprise, because of how dangerous it is in space. You did not want Leonard to go, but you knew they needed him. So you didn't argue with them about it, and you let Leonard take the position.

"I promise you, I will call you every single night so I can still hear your beautiful voice, and to make sure my girl is safe. I will try my best to stay safe up there. If anything bad does end up happening to me, I want you to know that I love you more than words could ever describe. You are the most perfect, wonderful, sweet, loving, amazing and beautiful person I've ever met! And I love you with all my heart, soul, and mind. I will miss you oh so much!" Leonard explained, hugging you tightly and kissing the top of your head.

"I love you Leonard! It kills me to know you're going to be so far from me and you could be hurt at any time and I won't know it. I do not want you to go more than anything. But I know they need you. Which you're the best man they could have on their ship. I wish I could come with you. God, I'm gonna miss you so so so much!" You cried, hugging him super tight, not wanting him to leave.

"I gotta go now darlin'. They need me." Tears started to form in Leonard's eyes. Leonard held your face in his hands and looked you in the eyes, "I will call you every single night, I promise! I don't know when or if I'll ever be back, but I promise you I'll never stop loving you! And I will try and find a way to bring you aboard the enterprise with me. I'll need you there with me. Once I know it is safe enough for you... I'll make sure you can stay with me there." You nodded, trying not to cry more.

"I love you so much!" You said, pulling Leonard into a passionate goodbye kiss. Leonard kissed you back passionately and lovingly, and then he eventually pulled away from you and said one more "I love you" then he left your guys' doorstep and off he went.

For the rest of the day you were worried sick about him, and super eager for him to phone you tonight. You were sitting on the couch in the living room waiting for him to phone, and trying not to have a panic attack from how much you were worried about him and how much you already missed him. You eventually passed out on the couch due to how exhausted you were and because you had been sitting by the phone for hours!

You were finally awakened from your sleep by the ringing of the phone. Before you even opened your eyes, you shot up from the couch and rushed to the coffee table situated beside the couch, to grab the phone. You snatched the receiver, holding it up to your ear.

"Darlin'? Darlin'? You there?" You hear Leonard's soothing voice speak over the phone.

"Oh God! I've already missed you so much Leonard! I'm so happy you're safe!" You blurted out, not even answering his question.

"Don't worry Y/N. I'm safe. Not as safe as I would feel in your presence, but God's got his eye out for me and has been keeping me safe." Leonard reassured you.

"Good, and I hope you're always safe there! How's it been up there so far?" You asked.

"It's awfully lonely, cold, dark, and scary. Thankfully the Enterprise is big enough to make you forget you're in an endless dark abyss infested with disease and danger. If you don't think about the fact you're in space as you're up here, then it isn't too bad here. Oh right, I had my first patient already today. It was a minor problem the patient had, and I was able to easily help them." Leonard Explained.

"I wish I was up there with you, then maybe space wouldn't be as scary. Plus we'd have each other. You're such a good man! You put your life at risk all the time just to make sure nobody is ever hurt! I'm so lucky to have married you!" You shared your thought.

"Aww, thank you! And Don't worry, I'll eventually find a way to get you here with me somehow. By the way, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I think I'm going to head to bed now. I'm awfully tired and have had a very long day." Leonard admitted.

"No no, it's fine, honey. I fell asleep on the couch waiting for your call not too long ago." You laughed. "I guess goodnight then, love. I'll talk to you tomorrow. I Love you so much!"

"Goodnight beautiful! I miss you so much! Love you too! Bye Darlin'!" Leonard replied.

You set the phone down, and were too tired to go up to yours and Leonard's bedroom upstairs, so you cuddled up with a blanket on the couch and passed right out.

*Time Skip (three months later)*

You had been feeling very sick recently, but you never told Leonard about it on your guys' phone calls, because you didn't want to worry him. It somehow crossed your mind that you should take a pregnancy test. You did, and you discovered you have been pregnant for 3 months now without even realizing it! You had to tell Leonard! So you phoned him up even though it was in the middle of the day.

"Hello? Y/N, is everything alright? You never phone in the afternoon." Leonard questioned with concern.

"Sweetheart, I'm pregnant! I had been feeling sick for a while now and it was concerning me, so I decided to take a test today, and I'm three months pregnant!" You exclaimed.

"Oh my goodness, Y/N! I'm so happy! God I wish I could hug you so tight right now! I'm so happy we get to be parents! And that we get to have our own baby together! I want to be by your side throughout your whole pregnancy! I found a way to get you here with me, so I want you to come live with me here, and we'll raise our kid together instead of apart! I don't know when I won't be needed here anymore, but for now instead of being apart and waiting for me to be sent back to earth... I think we should be together here instead!" Explained Leonard!

A/N-Hey guys! By the way, Y/N did agree to living on the enterprise with Bones, because she just missed him so much and wanted to be with him on the enterprise so bad especially cuz she's pregnant! Anyways, I really hope y'all liked this one! I really like it for some reason! I think it's very sweet! Gosh, I just absolutely love writing these Bones Fics! It's seriously so much fun, especially because I love Bones so much! Anyways please let me know what you guys thought about it! Thanks,
