James Potter slowly sat up in his bed, a bed he currently shared with his new wife, Victoria. I woman who helped the loneliness felt by the man, but today was a bit rough on his thoughts. The dream he had wasn't a nightmare, but it wasn't a good dream either. It was a memory he shared with his late wife, Lily. It pained him deeply. He wasn't sure what she would think of his marriage and newborn son. Good things, of course, but he didn't think such thoughts at least not at this moment.

He slipped out of bed and walked over to the crib. The crib was holding their four month old son, Tray. He was getting to be such an active and giggly little boy. A smart boy and a daddy's little boy. Tray yawned and rubbed his little eye and smiled up at his daddy. James gave the baby a smile back, before he picked him up out of his crib.
James changed the little boy and was looking for an outfit when he felt the kiss to his cheek. Victoria had woke up a couple minutes ago and watched her husband care for their infant son. James gave her a light smile, and grabbed the outfit he choose and walked back over to the changing table. "Somethings on your mind." She said softly, watching James start to dress their infant child. "Just thinking is all, Viv. I'm okay." James said. "Another bad dream?" She asked. "More...a memory." James said.
James picked his boy up and settled the baby on his hip. Tray held tightly to his shirt and rested his head against his daddy, sucking on his binky. "James, you can talk to me you know?" She said. "I don't think you want to hear about her, Viv." James said, before walking to the diaper bag, to make the baby a bottle. Tray was finally starting to take non breast milk, so feeding him was becoming a lot easier and anybody could at this point in time. "James. I understand you still love her, it would be ridiculous if I thought otherwise. She mothered both my step sons and still holds this big part of you. I understand, I do, but it's bothering you...I don't want you to have to worry, James." She said, watching the movements he done around the room. Tray, getting fussy when he seen he bottle being made. He reached his tiny little arm out for it. James kissed his little head. "It's coming buddy." James said, before he turned back towards his new Bride. "I know you understand want happened... understand the hold up...maybe more then you want to share, but it's...hard to explain...hard to understand everything I feel, sometimes. I don't even know why I feel some ways sometimes and I know that's not fair, Viv." He said, laying Tray down in his arms. Tray's binky hit the floor as he gripped his baby bottle with his little hands, holding it tightly. He quickly started to drink his morning bottle, as he watched his daddy closely. Victoria walked over and placed a light kiss on his lips. "I know it's hard, James. I just...worry about you and your boys. Jasper's been really... depended since his hospital stay. I don't mind, not one bit. I just know he will see you are worried, or bothered." She said and James let out a sigh.

James easies Tray to finish his bottle on the big bed and James eased to sit down on the foot of their bed and held out his hand. She smiled lightly and took his hand. She was settled on his lap. The pair glaced over at the infant boy, who laid still drinking his bottle, watching them with his big eyes. "Now and then. She makes her way into my dreams, Viv. It was actually more a memory, before the Navy. It's fuzzy now. I don't quiet recall the real memory or even then dream part of it, I just know whom it was about. It just...gets me thinking thoughts." James said. Victoria relaxed against him, getting his arms locked loose around her. "I'm sure she does. I know you love her, I know it's still painful for you. I understand, I really do. I only wish there was more I could do, to help ease that pain." She said, getting a light smile. "You have helped in ways I lost hoped in. You help me with my boys and I gained more family. I just...worry I guess, that...she'd be upset." James said. She shook her head. "She wouldn't be, James. Form what Siruis and Remus say about her. She wouldn't want you to be miserable or alone. I also know how much you still love her and your boys are slowly getting to hear, form you, about their mum. She's being kept alive, in memories. I don't think you have a thing to worry about." She said, getting a light kiss. "Thank you." He said, getting a big smile. "Always, love. I'll get breakfast started, Jennifer is staying home. She's starting to dilate, so no going anywhere." Victoria said. "I'll handle it, leave Tray with me today, please? I know the center been paid for, I Just...want him home." He said. "Okay." She said.
