We were ready to bed down for the night. We were in a place Liu Kang had set up for us. Me and Sonya were laying down, still awake. "I have a bad feeling." Sonya said.
"About what?" I asked.
"General Shao. I fear he has ill intentions towards us. Towards Earthrealm." Sonya told me.
"Sonya, baby, I'm gonna be honest. I agree with you. Theres something about him."
"I told you there was something off about him." Johnny whispered from two bunks away.
"Well tomorrow, maybe we can get some more answers." I said. "Goodnight, Sonya. I love you." I said.
"I love you too." We shared a quiet kiss.

The next day, we were back out the in the tournament. Raiden had just beaten other Outworld champions; Sheeva (a Shokan), Motaro (a Centaurian), and Kotal (an Osh-Tekk). "Only two fights remain. Are you ready?" Sindel asked Raiden.
"I am ready, Your Majesty." Raiden said.
"The next you face is my daughter... Kitana." Sindel said.
"Wait a minute, Kitana? I thought the heir was supposed to fight." Jax said.
"Maybe theres a reason." I said.
"Your Majesty, this is unprecedented. Raiden's next opponent should be your heir, Milena." Liu Kang said.
"Milena is unavailable. She's away on pressing imperial business." Sindel told him. "Raiden has already demonstrated great skill. Can he not improvise?"
"Do not worry, i can do this." Raiden told Liu Kang. He nodded. Liu Kang stepped away.
"I will be no easier to fight than my sister, Earthrealmer." Kitana told Raiden.
"I suffer under no delusion, Your Highness." Raiden said. Kitana and Raiden fought. Raiden shot his lightning at Kitana, and she used her fans to block it. Kitana, being amazingly agile, leaped over Raiden and started to use her fans to attack Raiden. Raiden used his lightning to block every hit from the fans. Kitana opened both of her fans and pushed Raiden back. He didn't give up. Kitana kept swinging and Raiden kept dodging and shooting lightning. She managed to get a punch on the lightning amulet, and it released a blast at her and threw Raiden back. The amulet still appeared unharmed. Kitana was weakened by the blast. She almost had Raiden pinned again, but Raiden kept going when he saw she was weakened. He slapped the fans out of her hands and got her down, winning in the end. "You fight well, Princess." Raiden said.
Kitana rose from the ground. "As do you, Earthrealmer." Kitana said.
"Its time for the final match." Sindel said. "Now you must face General Shao. Victor of the Tervarian War. Conquerer of the Kuatan Plains. Defender of the Navala Coast. As had his family for generations, General Shao defends us with zeal and tenacity. All of Outworld is grateful for his service." Sindel said.
"Only a mere fraction of accomplishments. A full recitation would take days." General Shao told Raiden. Then Raiden and Shao fought. General Shao seemed like he was going a little too hard with his battle axe, but he never managed to get the axe blade to touch Raiden. The most he got was hitting Raiden in the mouth with the handle. Raiden used his lightning to push Shao back The fight between the two was the longest one, but Raiden took down General Shao. Raiden won. "Its over. I've done it!" Raiden said with a smile.
"Congratulations, Raiden. Earthrealm wins." Sindel congratulated. Sindel and Kitana left. Shao was groaning. Raiden offered to help General Shao. "May i assist you?" He asked.
"Stay away, Earthrealmer." General Shao said, slapping his hand away.
"Well done. You have exceeded my expectations." Liu Kang said.
"Thank you, Lord Liu Kang." Raiden said. Liu Kang and Raiden came to us. We congratulated Raiden for his victory.

Liu Kang's POV...
I was sitting by a fire meditating. Then, i heard someone. I opened my eyes. "Geras." I said. Geras was once Kronika's servant. He was her right hand. When i killed Kronika, then Shang Tsung, after I restarted the timeline, I did not want to keep Kronika's power at the risk of suffering the same fate as her. So I gave up the power, and asked Geras to take the responsibility of protecting the Hourglass. He is eternal, so if anything happens to me, he will be able to protect it. "I am glad you are here, but you are not one for social calls. Is there trouble with the Hourglass?" I asked.
"With something it has shown me." Geras said. "When you restarted history, you altered the destinies if certain malefactors to neutralize them. One of them is defying their destiny: Shang Tsung."
That name of that evil sorcerer made me worry more. "Go on."
"He has escaped his meaningless life and is on his way to becoming a powerful sorcerer. He has already infiltrated Sindel's court." Geras told me.
"If that snake is in Sindel's ear..." I began.
"Your vision of peace might already be compromised." Geras finished.

Y/n's POV...
We were given a location by Liu Kang in Outworld to look for someone named Tsung. "Once you find him, bring him to me." Liu Kang said.
