Outworld

One week later...
Liu Kang brought us to Outworld through a fire portal. We walked out and in front of purple carpeted white stairs, purple flowers all around the place with two woman waiting to greet us. One in purple, and one in blue. "Empress Sindel's daughters." Liu Kang said.
"They do not disappoint." Johnny said. Sonya shook her head. "Thank God we are together." Sonya whispered to me. I smiled. We went forward as they walked down the stairs to us. "Lord Liu Kang. Welcome." The woman in purple told us.
"Thank you, Princess Milena. May i introduce you to Johnny Cage, Jackson Briggs, Y/n L/n, Sonya Blade, Kung Lao, Kenshi Takahashi, and Earthrealm's champion, Raiden." Liu Kang introduced us to them, then did vice versa. "My friends, this is Princess Milena and Princess Kitana." We all bowed to the Outworld princesses.
"I hope you are ready, Raiden." Milena said.

We were seated in three carrier cars. Kitana, Kung Lao, Johnny, Kenshi, and Jax placed in one, and Me, Sonya, Raiden, Liu Kang, and Milena in another. Outworld was so upbeat. It looked so colorful. As colorful as Earthrealm. There was a celebration happening in our name. Well, in Raiden's name since he's Earthrealm's champion. Raiden was looking in amazement. Seeing the four armed and six armed people, and the people that were half horse, half Outworlder.
I know how off it sounds to call them Outworlders, but that's all i could find.
"Those are Centaurians! And Shokan!" Raiden said, smiling.
"The six armed beings are Naknadans." Milena said.
"Wow... not only do we not have any of these guys in Earthrealm, we haven't even heard of them." Sonya said.
"This feels like a dream." I added.
"This is no dream, no tricks. This is reality." Liu Kang said.

We arrived to Empress Sindel's palace. Once we got in, we were placed outside and saw a big man with horns, sharp teeth, silver plated armor that clanged every time he moved a limb, and red eyes. "Red alert." Johnny Cage whispered.
"Wait, Cage. Maybe he is not evil." Sonya whispered. He approached us. "General Shao." Liu Kang said to him, greeting him. General Shao laughed. "Is it me, or is Earthrealm's champion scrawnier than usual?" He asked.
"Care to test his strength?" Kung Lao asked. "Raiden will-"
"Will prove himself soon enough." Liu Kang intervened, probably saving our asses.
"Have you still not told most Earthrealmers that Outworld exists?" The General asked.
"With all due respect, General, its probably safer that way." I said.
"People in Earthrealm like to kill endagered species and illegally sell their bones. If we told Earthrealm about you, I fear many would try to find a way here and do the same to some of your people, such as the Centaurians." Sonya added. General Shao looked at us, probably shocked that we knew so much. As a matter of fact, it looked like words just left this mind. "I suppose so." He looked at Liu Kang. "We will destroy your champion, Liu Kang. He will taste no victory." General Shao said. He left with that being his final words. Raiden watched him leave. "Johnny's probably got a point. This guy can't be good." Jax said.

We waited at the thrones of the empress and the princesses. Then the three came in. Kitana, Milena, and Empress Sindel. "Welcome, members of the royal house. Welcome, our esteemed Earthrealm guests." Sindel said. "We gather once again to honor my late husband's legacy. To continue the tournament he founded with Lord Liu Kang in hopes that it would foster peace among realms." Sindel said. "May Jerrod's soul watch over us with pride from its resting place in the Living Forest." She focused her attention to us. "Lord Liu Kang." Liu Kang stepped forward and bowed. "Empress Sindel. It pleases me to once again be your guest." Liu Kang told her.
"You are always welcome. Now, let us meet your champion." Sindel told him as she stood up.
"Earthrealm's champion is Raiden, your majesty." Liu Kang said. Raiden stepped forward. "He has earned his place by embodying the very best quantities of Earthrealm's people."
"You seem nervous, young man." Sindel said to Raiden. We could feel his nervousness radiating off him.
"I am a stranger in an unfamiliar land. Here to compete against its greatest fighters. Yes. I am nervous." Raiden admitted.
"As you should me. You have a difficult path ahead." Sindel said. "It has begun." A woman named Li Mei walked in from the hall. She was wearing purple and gray clothes with her hair tied back. She stood in front of Sindel. "Your Majesty, i will honor both the royal house, and all of Outworld, with my kombat." Li Mei told Sindel. Sindel told Li Mei something, then send her to fight. Liu Kang spoke to Raiden then stepped aside. "Think we'll win?" I asked Sonya.
"We'll make it." Sonya said to me. Raiden and Li Mei fought. Li Mei seemed quite powerful, but the lightning powers caught her off guard. Raiden used his lightning against her pink Chinese lion magic, causing Raiden to win. "Thank you for the match." Raiden said. Li Mei stepped aside. "General Shao, who have you chosen?" Sindel asked.
"My second in command, Reiko." General Shao announced. Reiko came out. He had tattoos on his arms and face, and had his hair tied back. His armor was similar to General Shao's. "As a boy, Reiko was orphaned during the Kafallah War. Though captured, his spirit remained unbroken. He scratched, clawed, and survived." General Shao told us. Reiko and Raiden fought. Reiko was about as strong as Li Mei. While heavily trained, Reiko had no special power and was weakened. Raiden took Reiko down. Raiden went to Sindel. "I am ready for my next opponent, Your Majesty." Raiden told Sindel.
"Patience, young man. We are adjourned until first light. I hope to see you all at this evening's banquet." Sindel announced.

We were at Sindel's banquet. Me and Sonya were enjoying our food while hanging out with Jax and Kenshi. Kung Lao was pretty much feasting, and Liu Kang and Raiden were talking. Johnny and Kitana was across from them. Johnny was speaking to Kitana. "So Kenshi, the Taira clan remain?" I asked.
"Yeah, we're still living. Right now, Johnny's in possession of my family blade, Sento. Without it, the Taira clan won't take me in. I can't help revive the clan." Kenshi told us.
"I've been speaking with Johnny a lot since the fight ended. Despite the fact he seems like an asshole, he's really not that bad of a guy." Jax told us. "He's just a Hollywood movie star."
"So i thought." Sonya said. There was some movement at the table. Liu Kang sat where Kenshi was, and Johnny sat where Jax was. "So uhh, maybe a good conversation starter is I'm sorry for uhh... flirting with your girlfriend. You two look happy together." Johnny told me.
"Well, I'm glad you don't try to pry on parts that don't move." I said. "Its fine, Johnny Cage."
"Yeah, good to know you didn't keep it up in Earthrealm." Sonya said. Johnny then reached in his pocket. "And here is the bet payment." Johnny held $150 dollars out to me. Me and Sonya shared a look. Then we looked back. "Keep your money, Johnny. We're good." I said.
"Alright. Your loss." Johnny said.
"Lord Liu Kang, going by what we've been seeing, Outworld seems to be the same as Earthrealm. What is the peace between realms thing you and Empress Sindel have been talking about?" Sonya asked the god.
"Outworld has had a bit of a bad taste in the past. Most enjoy the peace, but there are some that prefer Earthrealm and Outworld to be at war." Liu Kang told us. "This tournament happens every 100 years in hopes that someday, all of Outworld will choose peace." Liu Kang explained. Sindel spoke to us and had Raiden talk. "Your majesty, its an honor to be here and meet your people. I can already see theres more that joins us then divides us." Raiden said. We heard General Shao scoff. "Our peoples could not be more different, champion." General Shao said as he stood from his seat. "Earthrealmers are devoid of all..."
"Thats enough, General." Sindel said. Shao looked over. "My apologies. Perhaps i've enjoyed too much of this excellent wine. With your permission?"
"You may go." Sindel said. Shao and Reiko left.
