jihun woke up first, sitting on his father's chest, wearing his diaper and a sleeveless cotton t-shirt from last night, inspecting how his daddy is sleeping here with them. even his mamma is sleeping till now when she usually wakes up before him, or at least the same time unless it's the weekend. she's hugging taehyung and he's hugging her back, leaving almost no space for jihun, which makes him pout. he tries to wiggle his way in between, but it doesn't work when his mamma shifts a little more, closing the minimal gap that was there.

"mamma..." jihun mumbles, tapping on her head and waits patiently for her to wake up, which never happens. so he tugs on her hair, getting a whine of discomfort from her, which still doesn't wake her up but it does end taehyung's dreams there.

"hey, buddy..." taehyung lets out in a voice deeper than usual, more raspy in the morning. he gives a small smile to his son, making the toddler giggle back and lay down on his chest, moving playfully as he opens his mouth to kiss taehyung's cheek. "yeah, bunny. so energetic in the morning, huh?" he chuckles, rubbing the baby's back and glances at him.

"daddy, mamma wakie..." he mumbles, grabbing jiah's hair again and pulls on them, which earns him a light smack over his diaper from taehyung.

"no, don't hurt mamma, jihun. let her sleep." taehyung says softly, shifting the toddler to the other side so he wouldn't bother jiah and let her sleep for a bit more.

"mamma?" the two-year-old blabbers something further, which makes taehyung smile amusedly, nodding his head at whatever the son said. "mamma icky?"

"no, mamma's just tired. she'll wake up in some time and then give jihun some yummy breakfast." he speaks to the toddler, who nods in response even though taehyung doubts that he understood him properly or not. but it's okay, he's just two.

jihun gets up from his place beside taehyung and climbs to get back on top of him, sitting on his chest and taehyung smiles, not saying anything to him. although jihun doesn't try waking his mother up and gets engaged with trying to unbutton taehyung's shirt that has many creases now, he still doesn't stay still and ends up kicking jiah's shoulder, getting an annoyed groan from her.

"jihun!" she scolds.

"mamma," jihun giggles, kicking her deliberately this time.

"stop, please. i'm not in the mood to play, okay?" she grumbles against she believes is a pillow and stuff her face more against the fabric, which is the first time she notices that it's a not a freaking pillow. she looks up slowly, eyes widening in fear as taehyung meets her gaze and winks at her with a smile.

"good morning, mamma." he chuckles, "slept well?"

she covers her mouth in shock, pulling herself back from taehyung and sits up quickly, looking down at herself, relieved on finding herself in the same clothes from last night. "fuck... i'm not drunk..." she mumbles, turning to jihun and gulps, "kick me again, ji." the toddler does happily, and jiah groans loudly, falling back on the bed, "i fucking hate you, kim taehyung!"

jihun stares at her with a confused look, probably worried that he kicked her too hard, but taehyung sighs, patting his back and sits up, carrying him up in his arms, "let's give mamma some time, okay?"

"fuck off." jiah grits out.

"puck off!" jihun repeats.

"hey, no. that's not a nice thing to say." taehyung hums deeply, shaking his head at his his son, who quickly catches up with the father's unhappy expression and pouts, mumbling out a tiny 'sowwy' to him. "it's okay, daddy knows ji is a good boy and he won't say it again." taehyung cooes with a smile, nuzzling his nose against the toddler's cheek and heads towards the door.
