"As if things could NOT get more complicated!" Shouted aloud The Silver Demon as he saw the Wraiths before him, "Now we have Nadruk's gang of Pishachas too?!" Ginkaku declared in outrage as he began to conjure another spell with his palms. However, one of the Wraiths twitched violently toward him and began to attack him with feral ferocity as its body distorted within its shadowy frame. Claws infused with a blackened venom as it swung its arm at the demon, leaving Ginkaku little time to respond against the Wraith. Only saved thanks to the actions of Kinakaku as The Gold Demon threw a fireball at the creature and destroyed it upon impact. Athena was heavily on her guard as the feral Wraiths began their assault on her and the others around. After all, the venom that these Wraiths will give them all a fate worse than death if they were to be infected with it. Using her spear, Athena sliced through multiple of the Wraiths as both Tyrik and Esmeralda struggled to recover from their daze. Ruhak did what he could to defend himself as June Malbec showed her form of ferocity in battle as she was able to destroy many Wraiths on her own as she hissed with violent aggression.

Yet, Tyrik was simply concerned with Esmeralda as she was overwhelmed by a black flame that was being grown thanks to the arrival of Bernt with his Pishachas behind him. "Esmeralda! Say something!" He pleaded as the young Draconian had no idea how he could help her nor what was happening to her one of the Wraith slowly approached Tyrik, its body twitching and twisting in inhumane ways as it extended its claws to strike. Yet, as Esmeralda saw this, the Dark Elven Princess held up her hand as the same black flames began to engulf her left arm, and a dark grin formed on Esmeralda as she clenched her hand. As this occurred, Wraith was suddenly crushed by an unseen force; it wailed out in pain as it was destroyed. Esmeralda soon passed out as her arm began to be covered with burn wounds caused by these flames.

Tyrik may have been left in confusion, but he had enough to figure that Esmeralda was able to tap into the same power that Bernt had. However, why and how was unknown to him as he stood up with Caliburn in hand. A new surge of energy began to infuse itself with Tyrik as his eyes turned to orbs of raw magical power and lightning crackled around him. Each bolt emitted from his body while he stared down Bernt and his new powers hit a group of Wraiths that attempted to surround Tyrik. The runes upon the blade of Caliburn glewed with such power that it began to produce light so great that many needed to cover their eyes to avoid going blind. However, Bernt screamed out in pain as the very light itself seemed to cause harm to The Specter due to the Shadowy Influence that gave him the newfound powers that he wielded. Red Son saw his opening as he called upon The Samadhi Fires to create a torrent of flames that struck Bernt, burning away large portions of his body despite the ghostly physique he had which allowed him to phase through most attacks. Yet, The Samadhi Fires were much more than mere fire as they were the truest flames in existence and one of The Original Elements that helped create Yggdrasil. "You bastards... You won this time around... Though, I doubt you would be as lucky next time we face off..." Bernt vowed as his rage grew and he saw his forces swiftly destroyed by the efforts of his foes. With that, Bernt retreated into the shadows to escape.

Ruhak, June, Ginkaku, and Kinakaku were all trying to figure out their next move while things were still settling down and using the blinding light to make their escape without being detected. They knew that they all underestimated the situation that surrounded their target. Better to fall back and make a better plan of attack than push their luck against the odds. As the light from Caliburn faded away, Athena searched for the four bounty hunters in the hopes of capturing them for questioning. "Gamiméno diáolo..." Athena cursed in Greek out of frustration, "Now they managed to get away too..." The Olympian stated under her breath. "Yet, I can't say we didn't get away with nothing. Seems like we were right about a few things from this encounter." Penelope concluded as she went over the details within her mind.
