Right as I entered the school I looked around following my parent, they entered this big room with a ton of family's in it. We sat down and moments later heard bag pipes playing, kids and teachers starting walking in the room.
"Ladies and gentle man boys. The light of knowledge" I looked up to hear some guy start taking and light some little boys candle
"100 years ago in 1859..." I started to zone out while he said this, to be honest I don't know if this is relevant to the plot of the movie, I only saw it a few years ago. But whenever I tried to zone back in I would just get distracted.
Soon the assembly thing ended, I followed my parents to meet up with this old looking guy from earlier, he was trying to talk to each family it seemed like, me and my parents kept waiting until we where up next.
"Mr and Mrs Kolar, Pleasure to meet you." He says shaking my dads hand
"Thank you sir for letting our daughter into your school, we promise she will do her best and prove her place here." He shakes the headmasters hand, we start to walk away and back to our car
"Very rude that you didn't say anything Marley, great first impression dear." My mom says sarcastically
"Ok." I took my luggage out of the car and headed to my room, 281.. 281... 281!
I entered to see a bedroom with a bathroom attached to it, it seemed like a dorm sized room. I hung up all of my sweaters and coats into a random closet and made my bed.
After about 5 minutes of settling in I decided to go explore the school. I needed to find my classes for later on. I walked down the stairs and into a random hallway, me and this kid accidentally made eye contact so I walked up to him intending to get to know the school.
"Hey uhm.. do you know where science 132 is?" I ask looking at him
"Uhm.. no sorry I'm new.." he says looking embarrassed, not gonna lie I felt kind of bad for the guy
"Oh! I'm new too, want to be friends? We could explore the school together." I offer shrugging at the end
"Yeah sure.." he mumbles and guides me to walk with him, we go up the stairs and look for his dorm as we talk about our favorite things and introducing ourselves.
"Looks like a stiff!" I saw this ugly ginger kid laugh, I realize that was Todd's dorm as we entered, I glared at the ginger kid and he gulped looking me and Todd up and down.
After helping Todd unpack I went back to my own dorm and unpacked everything I had.
