Janelle

"Thank you". I thanked the flight attendant. I carried Italy close and grabbed the rest of my luggage and boarded the plane. I was moving back home temporarily to get my thoughts together without being bothered by tabloids or unnecessary mosey people. Although rod basically forbid me from moving back and taking myself and my daughter so far away; I'm doing this anyway, for myself. I found a reasonable size apartment in the area and I rented it out for a year. Just enough time to regroup myself.

I watched Italy fight sleep as she whimpered on the plane ride. I get her something and watched her doze off.

As I waited, I looked through different articles and rolled my eyes and sighed on how different tabloids labeled me as a bad mother for brutally attacking a pregnant woman while my daughter watches from the car. I understand what did was wrong, but it's hard to control rage. But don't ever belittle me as a mother because I'm a damn good one.

Besides, that bitch doesn't even want that baby; she just wants some motherfucking publicity. Along with making my marriage a living hell.

The plane landed and I grabbed my luggage. I was struggling with Italy, and I and so many suitcases. I dropped a bag, and instantly became frustrated. I guess my frustration was noticed when I heard a voice.

"Do you need some help ma'm"? The deep succulent voice questioned. I turned around to see the most beautiful face I've ever laid eyes on.

"Um sure, thank you.. I really appreciate it". I said appreciative.

He smiled weakly and grabbed my bags. He was very attractive. Light colored eyes, smooth mocha skin, deep black low cut curly hair, full lips, broad shoulders, and the body of a perfect athlete. I could tell he worked out.

"Thank you sir, I really appreciate it". I thanked him again.

He smiled. "No problem...you look very familiar"! He began.

I don't know why my heart beat increased when he said that, but it just did. "Oh, really"? I edged to see who he thought I was.

"Aren't you umm, Janelle Mitchell"? He asked.

I smiled weakly. "Yeah". I said

He bowed his head a tad. "Ummm, I'm sorry about..uh what happened you know".

I smiled weakly. "Honey, it's ok. I'll be just fine. Thanks for the help sir. I really appreciate it".

"Your welcome". He said before walking away.

I began to walk away, and then I stopped. I turned around and got his attention.

"I'm sorry sir, I didn't get your name". I said interested in who this gorgeous man was. He smiled. "Jamal". He stated. I smiled. "It was nice meeting you, Jamal". I said before walking away. "Nice meeting you as well Janelle"! He called out after me.

I smiled as I caught a cab to the condo I was renting out. It was much nicer then the pictures I saw online. Well decorated, sheik, and fancy. I really loved it. It was definitely my style. I paid the taxi driver and thanked him for helping me with my bags. I got myself and Italy settled in and decided to rest. I was tired.

Somewhere in San Antonio, Texas

Richard Mitchell

I was disappointed in my son, my wife and I Bridget watched as it seemed as if his life was falling apart. We haven't been to visit in a while. Last we saw each other was a year ago, after he was shot by his crazy ass friend. We still been keeping in touch though.

"Daddy, when am I gonna see my brother again"? FeFe questioned jumping in my life. I gasped, my little girl wasn't such a little girl anymore. Her nine year old body wasn't so light. I'm 56 and my bones weren't as strong.

"Soon FeFe". I informed her. One answer answers didn't satisfy Felicity anymore, and I knew "soon" wasn't gonna fly by her. I knew she wanted a date, but unfortunately I don't know myself. Rod has a lot going on right now, and I'm afraid that all this isn't what he needs at the moment.

Rodkevious

I've been blowing Janelle's phone up and she hasn't answered once. I was becoming frustrated. What the hell could she be doing?

I grabbed my gym bag and headed to practice. I put my things in the locker room, suited up and sat on the bench. Everyone looked at me with pitty it seemed like. "Aye man you straight"? Wade questioned.

I nodded. "Thanks for the concern man, but I'm just here to play ball, trynna get my mind off that crazy bitch". I assured him. "I understand". He said. He patted my back and jogged away.

I ran my hand through my hair, and rubbed my eyes. I haven't got any sleep. Janelle won't pick up. Mrs. Scott won't pick up. I'll just go over after practice and see what's up.

Leaving practice, I gained courage to go over. I rang the doorbell and waited for someone to answer. It was Mr. Scott.

"Hey Rod, what are you doing here"? He questioned. "Hey Mr. Scott, is Janelle around"? I questioned. Becoming anxious.

"No, she's not.. She went back home to Chicago, I thought you knew. My wife just left today, to get her situated."

"She left yesterday"! He finished.

My heart sank to my stomach. "Is my daughter still here"? I questioned as my voice began to crack. "No, she left too". He informed me.

"Dammit"! I screamed. Causing him to jump a bit.

I sighed and grabbed my head. "Um, thank you Mr.Scott"! I said before getting in my car and leaving. I was on the way to the airport to get the first ticket to Chicago.
