Chapter 12

"Hey!" Kurama speech.

"Hey!" Naruto talking with Kurama speech.

"Hey!" a speech in different language.

A few months later, there is an uproar in the media that Kaitou KID appeared again after 8 years disappear. And the media has been loud since then, like they were ecstatic at the phantom thief appearance. Well, most of them. The police wasn't really thrilled at the thief appearance.

And for our favourite blonde, Naruto have been continue his life like normal even after he told both of his best friends about his secret and the two still treat him the same. Moreover, his relationship with Kaito have doing fine so far. They treat each other affectionately, like a true couple. They would go on a date sometimes in weekend if one of them aren't busy, sometimes Naruto would stay over at Kaito to deepened their relationship (You know what I mean). All and all, their relationship is doing great and they cherish this relationship a lot.

Today like always, Naruto woke up in the morning and get himself ready to school. He make a breakfast for him and Shinichi as always and the two eat their meal together while also having a sibling bonding time with a nice conversation. Though, they talked about a case a lot and since Shinichi have started his detective career ever since they get back from the trip in America.

The black coffee haired boy had made the name for himself already and Megure-keibu started to relied on the boy whenever Naruto wasn't available. And with how the boy get involved with so many cases, his name had came out in the news a lot. He even got his moniker because of that. They called him Detective of the East, Heisei Holmes and the second saviour of the police, since Naruto is the first.

Anyway, the two keep going and going, talking about the case when Naruto phone alarm ringed signalling that they should start ready themselves for school.

Naruto would always set up an alarm whenever they started to have a conversation about the case, since they knew that they will definitely emersed with their conversation and forgot the time.

*Ding Dong*

They heard someone ring the doorbell, "Shinichi!" and then Ran voice was heard from outside, calling for the coffee haired detective.

Since Naruto finished first, he goes opened the door and greet the girl. "Good morning, Ran-chan!" greeted him with a warm smile and opened the gate to let the girl in. Ran saw him and smiled back in greeting, "Good morning, Naruto-san! Is Shinichi not ready yet?" she asked politely and walked inside.

"Oh, Shinichi was brushing his teeth after having breakfast. Just wait for him a few minutes, he will probably came out afterward." informed him neutrally and walked to the garage to bring his motorbike out.

Ran nodded in understand. And just like Naruto said, Shinichi really came out a few minutes later with his bag pack hanging on his shoulder and greet his childhood friend a good morning.

Before the three goes their separate way, Naruto called for his brother. "Oh, yeah. Shinichi!" the cowlick boy turned to him when he heard the call. "Hmm?"

Naruto pulled out something from his bag pack and passed his brother a wrapped box to him. "Here!" Shinichi raised an eyebrow at the box yet took it nonetheless, "What is it?" asked him curiously and looked at the box in pique.

"A congratulation gift on your achievement for making a name for yourself as a wonderful detective." state the blonde brother proudly.

Shinichi's face flushed a little at the praise and gazed at the present his brother gave him in awe and joyful. "Thank you, Nii-san! Can I open it?" Naruto nodded with a smile, tell him to go on.
