We went in after Mom to the living room. A cake has been set in the middle with balloons and decorations all over the place. A birthday hat was worn by everyone as they sang Happy Birthday to me.

I smiled at all of them as Dad placed a hat on my head.

After cutting the cake, we all settled around the fireplace as the workers began to set the table for dinner.

"It's the gift time," Sophie announced as she took the small gift-wrapped box from her packet.

"Happy Birthday, Cami" She gave me the gift followed by a hug. After that, everyone started to give me the gifts they bought for me. I never really liked gifts that much. But I smiled and accepted the gifts from them because it's the thought that counts.

"Open it." Uncle Josh said as I got the last gift and settled down. I nodded and unwrapped the gift.

It's a painting from Josh and Jules. I thanked them and kept it aside.

And after opening all the other gifts, we went into the dining room for dinner. A feast has been arranged by Mom since it's been more than a year since she saw her friends and also since it's my birthday.

"Wow. It's been so long since we all ate together." Aunt Ava said as she settled behind her husband Alex.

"Yeah. I missed you guys." Aunt Stella nodded.

"She's just talking about the girls." Uncle Christian grumbled.

"Stella definitely missed me. Didn't you, Stella?" Uncle Josh grinned. Uncle Christian glared at him as Josh grinned from ear to ear.

"Stop glaring." Aunt Stella said to Christian.

"Well, he deserves it." Christian looked at Stella and his gaze softened.

"And you deserve a good beating. But no one is saying it now, are they?" And there continues their never-ending battle.

We all laughed as they continued their battering. And they kept going till we finished dinner.

After dinner, Lia suggested we all go to a club to enjoy my birthday, and after a long intense discussion, our parents on two conditions.

Condition one is to come to the house before 1.00 am and the second is to take two bodyguards with us. We accepted it and went to change our dresses for the party.

I settled on changing into a sparkly black dress that Lia had picked out for me earlier. We all went in a car with Jer driving it and Lia at the front. I was squashed in between the twins as they both talked my ear off.

The two bodyguards are following us back with another car.

We arrived at the club finally after a long 15-minute drive. The club was pulsating with energy, the music thumping and couples dancing in the middle.

We went to the bar and ordered a couple of shots.

"To Cami" Lia toasted and others all clinked their glasses and took the shot heads up.
