A strong downpour greeted me when I woke up. I stretched a bit before finally getting up from my bed and heading to the bathroom to wash my face. I walked to the bathroom while yawning. The loud sound of rain hitting the roof was quite annoying.

I let out a loud yawn as I entered the bathroom. I stretched my arms to release some tension.

It's already been a month since my grandmother passed away. I can manage to live alone, though it's a bit difficult since I have no one to rely on. I had gotten so used to having Grandma around that now I'm feeling the loss deeply.

There's no one to greet me in the morning, and no one to ask about my day when I come home in the afternoon. There's no one to share meals with at the dining table. The pain returns every time I think about how Grandma is gone.

But there are moments when I wonder about her-how is she in heaven? I never got to tell her the truth, and I feel guilty about that. I dried my tears first and started washing my face to recover.

Vincent is here to guide me, but right now he can't because he's facing a big problem. Our affair has affected the university's reputation. I only see Calvin two to four times because he's busy with the hospital he manages.

I don't know what Vincent will do to save the university, but I'm nervous about what will happen. My relationship with him has also greatly affected me since it became known throughout the school because of Cassandra.

I grabbed the towel hanging near the bathroom window and wiped my face to dry it quickly. I don't have classes today because I've been suspended for almost two weeks, so I just hang around the restaurant to work. I exited the bathroom and headed to the living room.

Just as I arrived, someone knocked on the door. I approached and opened it, and to my surprise, it was Vincent at the door.

"T-teka ano ang ginagawa mo rito?" tanong ko pagkabukas ko ng pinto. "Halika pumasok ka, ang lakas ng ulan." pag-imbita ko rito na pumasok. Vincent holding his umbrella to prevent him from wetting, but both of his shoulders already quite wet.

We didn't used any condom; We just made it withdrawal.

"Anong problema?" tanong ko sa kaniya dahil hindi pa rin ito kumakalas sa pagkakayakap sa'kin. Mas lalo pa nitong isiniksik ang katawan sa katawan ko, hindi naman ako makapalag dahil, I also like what he's doing.

"Hey, you okay?" muli kong tanong. "Is there something bad happen?" dagdag ko pang tanong.

"Would you like to come with me." kumalas ito sa pagkakayakap at hinarap ako saka hinawakan ang aking kamay.

"Come with you? What do you mean? Where are we going?" curious kong balik na tanong. Vincent looked at my eyes seriously. He has no emotions on his face.

"Would you like to come with me? Let's live in Canada. Lets live together in one roof, you don't need to work because I'll provide everything you need-we need. Be my fiance Catherine." lalong humigpit ang pagkakahawak nito sa kamay ko, saka niya iyon hinalikan.

"But how? How can I live in Canada? I need to leave all the things I have here in Philippines. I think I can't. Why do we need to go there if we can live together here? Is there something wrong?" Vincent took a deep sigh, and hold both of my shoulders. He stared into my eyes.
