Chapter 1: The Bite

Chased out of her old home, Marinara grew up with the second-best warrior in Berk for a father, and her father's name was Ragnar. Ragnar trained Marinara day and night until she passed out. The only time Marinara gets to herself is when she flies freely as her other half.
Marinara is fifteen years old. She is blonde, with blue eyes. She is a warrior thanks to her father. But one thing...she's also the dragon everyone has been trying to hunt forever... a Night Fury.
Everyone calls her Mari, the only times they call her Marinara is when it's very serious. She is great at combat; though that's sometimes thanks to her other self.
Marinara has all the basics of combat down. Use your enemies' strength as a weakness. That's one of them. One time she used a Titan Wing's big size against them, as they couldn't make as quick turns as she could, making her probably the first person to kill a Titan Wing.
Though then again she's also the first and last dragon/human. She doesn't know if there's any others like her. All she knows is that there's no one like her, but her. That's her motto right there.
There's no one like her, but her.
Is she lonely? Nahh.......she stopped hoping that she wasn't the last of her kind a long time ago. If there's one thing her father taught her, it's that sadness is a weakness. The enemy will use that against you and break you mentally. It's better to stay on guard whether you like it or not.
Let's back it up two years ago way before it all started. Marinara was exploring the woods, seeing Terrible Terrors, Monstrous Nightmares, and Deadly Nadders. Then she heard a roar, and got a little scared, but was still on her guard.
"Uh, this is the Dark Forest, Mari, of course it will be scary." Marinara said, nervously chuckling as she walked past. Then she heard another roar. A Night Fury's roar.
"Oh no!" Marinara shouted, panicking. Then she saw the Night Fury, jumping down towards her, it got in her face, and started lowly growling.
"No, no, no, no..." She repeated fearfully, bringing out her blade that she carried with her. The Night Fury bit her arm and she yelped in pain. Blood was pouring down her arm as the Night Fury. Marinara cried for help.
She banged herself along some trees trying to get back to the village. Then her vision became blurry and she felt her legs get weak. Marinara collapsed not before she heard, "MARIANA!"
