Chapter 2: My Awakening

Marinara slowly woke up. Marinara looked at her arm and saw a prosthetic arm. Marinara looked around, her vision was blurry. Then she shook her head to clear it, and saw her father.
"Mari, I'm so glad you're alive." Her father Ragnar said. "Y-yeah I'm fine, but...." She glanced at her prosthetic arm. "Well... whatever bit you took your arm off. Gobber had to get you a prosthetic one." Ragnar told his daughter.
Marinara nodded. "I'm just glad it wasn't both." Marinara said in relief. "Me too. Anyway I should get back to my team. Love you, Mari." Ragnar said, and closed the door.
"Love you too dad." Marinara said quietly. Then she felt something sting. "Huh? Ah- ahhh!!" Marinara shouted as she transformed. She saw a night fury in the mirror. "I can transform now?" Marinara said in astonishment.
"Yes, you can, but you have to say 'Sunrise,' to transform back. And then to transform, say 'Glow in the dark!'." A little voice in her head said. "Umm...Sunrise?" She said and she transformed back. "Glow in the dark." She transformed.
"Sunrise," she repeated, and transformed back. She smiled, narrowed her eyes, and smirked.
