Chapter 8

I apologize if this sucks, homies 😭 finally an update and storyline???

As the night passed you awoke sometime in the middle of it. You glanced around and remembered you were cuddling Donnie and smiled softly. You slowly traced shapes on his shell as he slept. He let out a content churr an snuggled against you further. You relaxed with him till you heard a noise. You tensed up and carefully set Donnie down, not waking him up as you left his room and cautiously looked around the lair. Hearing the sound again it sounded like metallic steps. You could hear them coming from outside the lair.

    You debated on whether to leave or not but your curiosity got the best of you. As you walked around the sewers you followed the sound, hearing it get louder and realizing they weren't metallic steps but were actually metallic hits, someone was fighting.....

    You peaked around the corner and spotted some form of a robot fighting what looked like two little mutant gargoyles? You watched them cautiously.

"Stupid robot! Give us back the oozequito! Where did you put it!? Boss is going to kill us if you don't tell me!"
-gargoyle 1

"Yeah! Give it up you dumb bot!"
-gargoyle 2

     The robot seemed to have a error once it was punched in the chest by gargoyle one, falling back and cracking open, revealing a empty chamber.

"Oh god! It's not there!"
-gargoyle 1

"What do we do?! How are we supposed to find it?! What if it bit someone already?!"
-gargoyle 2

"I don't know! Let's just tell draxum!"
-gargoyle 1

     You watched as the two flew away out of the sewer. You waited till you were sure they were gone before you picked up the broken robot and left back to the lair. Once inside you spotted Donnie looking around in a panic.

"M/n?! M/n!"
-Donnie

     He whisper shouted

"I'm over here! Sorry I heard something and went to investigate!"

     He immediately turns to you and looks at you surprised. He rushes over and then processes the broken robot in your arms.

"W-where did you find this....."
-Donnie

"It was in the sewers! Some little mutant gargoyles beat it up and were upset about it not having an oozequito in it! They then left to tell their boss or someone named draxum!"

     You inform him. His eyes widen and he looks at the robot worriedly before he takes in and tells you to follow him to his lab. He searches through the bot and destroys and tracking systems before he goes over its inner system. He then asks you to wake the others. You decide to listen rather then ask questions due to the urgency in his tone. You decided to wake Mikey first.

"Mikey? Can you wake up please?"

    You nudge him gently. He slowly wakes up and tiredly looks at you.

"Donnie needs us in the lab....i uh found something in the sewers and he seems......urgent."

      He notices your worry immediately and sits up.

"Oh dear, I'll head up. Thanks for telling me     m/n."
-Mikey

       He then leaves to Donnie's lab, you walk to Leo's room next.

"Leoooooo, wake up.."

    As you nudge him he tiredly grumbles before he realizes it's you. He chuckled and then hugs you tiredly.

"Come over to cuddle?~"

     You chuckle a little at his teasing tone before you become serious again.
