When Vanexa knocked on the door to the Wells Residence, it was 2 in the morning, so she was surprised to see Mindy was awake. "Vanexa, what are you doing here? Is your mom drinking again?" All she did was nod, but clearly something else was bothering her, "Vanexa, come inside, tell me what's wrong." A hour later, Mindy knew everything that was going on with Vanexa. "I see, and you want to move in with Jack?"

Vanexa only nodded once, but she wasn't confident at all, "I know you might not think me and Jack are truly in love Mrs. Wells, but, we are... I love him." A second later, she felt Mindy's soft hand on her cheek, "Darling girl, you don't have to explain any further, I'll get in contact with the court and see if I can adopt you, I do have one request if it goes alright." Vanexa looked to Mindy, who's calm and kind demeanor made her fell like she was home, "Just tell him to keep it in his pants, I'm too young to be a grandmother."

"I'll see what I can do Mindy." Vanexa said, smiling. As Vanexa laid her hands on the table, she felt something she never felt before from her mother: Motherly love. Even though her Father loved her, her Mother wasn't as kind, and it only got worse after the accident. As Vanexa made her way to Jack's room, she slowly slide into his bed and cuddled him, purring a bit. "Mmm? Huh, Vanexa? You ok?" She sighed, but smiling a bit, "Besides my mother and her douchebag boyfriends, everything is perfect, especially now."

Jack might have been half asleep, but he knew from the sound of her voice that a great weight has been lifted, and he smiled as he cuddled her, to which she responded by purring loudly, "Oh Jack, don't let me go~!" And he didn't, he held her close all night long.
