Lia's POV- Ariana and I were getting ready for the dance. For starters I was doing my makeup. I had washed my face with a lavender scented face wash and applied some moisturiser to prevent my face from drying. I applied some Lakmé Absolute Blur Perfect primer to even out the fine lines. Next I applied some Lakmé Absolute Skin Dew Serum Foundation. I dabbed the foundation on my face with a sponge. Then I applied Lakmé Absolute White Intense Liquid Concealer to hide the proof of sleepless nights under my eyes and near the bridge of my nose. I applied some Lakmé Absolute Face Stylist Blush Duos - Rose Blush. I applied a slight dark shade of pink from my Lakmé Absolute Infinity Eyeshadow palette. I finished my eye makeup by doing a winged eye liner. I applied a lip liner at the lines of my lips. Then I applied a slight dark pink shade lipstick. I applied some highlighter at the tip of my nose and my cheek. I Finally I sprayed some setting spray to set my look. And damn! I looked hot!

Finally it was time for my dress! It was an off shoulder, baby blue colour full length dress with a slit in the middle. There was a belt of beads and diamonds attached to it near the waist area. I paired my dress with baby blue coloured heels and white coloured earrings.

I was almost done getting ready when I got a strange feeling about the dance. I thought about the whole Damien asking me out fiasco and felt a bit strange. "Don't you think it is a bit strange for Damien to ask me out suddenly, when I got the challenge?" I thought out loud. "Maybe he has feelings for you and to ignore that he was being mean to you. But now he sees this Winter Dance as an opportunity to express his feelings." Ariana spoke. "Nah! You are being a hopeless romantic."
Damien told me he would pick me up at Ariana's house as he could not come to pick me up at my house. I asked the reason to which he replied 'That's not for me to tell you'. I did not understand a thing but then dropped the argument.
Damien picked me up at 7:00 and currently we are in his car about to reach our school. We were sitting in an awkward silence.
He was wearing a black suit and a baby blue tie and Emporio Armani Velvet loafers. He asked me yesterday what colour dress was I wearing so he could match his tie colour with my dress.

"You look breathtaking." He finally broke the silence. "You don't look bad yourself." And it was the truth. He looked hot. "I have a question." I spoke out of the blue. "Yes?" "Why did you ask me out suddenly?" He was about to answer but we reached our destination.
Many students had arrived by the time we reached including, "Ariana and Sebastian?" What are they doing together? "Huh? You said something?" Damien asked. "Ariana and Sebastian. What are they doing here together." "Oh yeah! He asked her out yesterday." He said nonchalantly. And she did not even consider to tell me? Oh wait! I did t ask her. So much for being a best friend. I remembered he did not answer my question.
"So.... My question. Why did you ask me out suddenly?" I repeated my question. He looked around. "Oh hey! Sebastian." He spotted Sebastian and left.
It felt like he kept dodging this question. Did he hear my conversation with Skylar? Is he trying to help me? No, no, no, he is Damien. Damien Calloway. Even the Satan himself would consider about helping me. But no way in freakin' hell would he try to help me. But then why did he ask me out of the blue. Maybe Ariana is right. But I'm sure it can't be a coincidence for me to get the challenge and for him to start expressing his feelings. But then why the hell did he ask me out?!!
Damien's POV- Sebastian was talking to one of our classmates when I dragged him in the corner. "What the fuck man?!" "We have got a crisis." I explained vaguely. "What do you mean?" "Lia is getting suspicious ." "How?" "She asked me why did I asked her out suddenly, while we were driving here." "What did you tell her?" "Nothing. We reached here by the time I thought about something to answer. Sometime later she asked me again but then I dodged her question and found you." "So, what's your plan?" "I don't know man, that's why I came to you." "Just keep dodging it." "Nah! She will find it more suspicious."
