It had been 4 years since Remus' death. Logan never got over the day he watched his Warlock's life be taken before his eyes, taken before the eyes of the public.
His older brother, Virgil, had since taken over the throne, and changed the course of the kingdom. He had changed the laws over magic users, allowed them to come clean, use their magic with freedom. Of course there were still limitations, but no one had to hide anymore. That didn't change the stigma, and it didn't bring back those who had fallen prey to the cruel ways of their ancestors law, but it allowed people to live in less fear.
Logan loved the distraction of his neice and nephew. Patton and janus' children were bundles of joy that he loved with all his heart. The 5 of them would spend evenings listening to logan read, or singing songs in a circle on logans bedroom floor.
He got to talk about Remus as much as he wanted, or not think about him at all, and he and janus would often sit in the living room of the warlocks house, drinking wine until they passed out from exhaustion as they talked about their beloved Remus.
Hey hey! It's been a hot minute (whoops) but I'm hoping to get this book up and running properly soon. I look forward to continuing Remus and Logans story, and I hope you all enjoy exploring it with me.
