Highschool Days (Raph x Ruby): I Really Really Like You

Carnival Fun

It was the weekend, sun was out on this beautiful day. Ruby really likes Raph so much now but she just didn't know how to tell him that because she gets the strange feelings inside. Butterflies in her stomach, hearts in her eyes like everytime she thinks about him, Ruby feels all lovey dovey.

She decided to call him since she didn't have anything fun to do for the weekend. There was a carnival in new York, so Ruby about asking Raph to go with her today.

"Hey Raph, it's me Ruby!" She said gently over the phone.

"Oh, hey Ruby, what's up?" Raph asked.

"Listen, I was kinda of wondering if you wanted to go to the carnival with me today! But if you don't want to, I understand!" Ruby said nervously as she blushes and smiled.

"Of course I want to go Ruby!" Raph said gently over the phone.

"Really?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah, besides I got nothing better to do anyway but I'll be there in a few minutes!" He said.

"Okay!" Ruby said as she hung up her phone and started to do a victory dance while she pumped her fists in the air with excitement.

Meanwhile, at the carnival as Raph and Ruby were having so much fun like playing games, going on rides. Raph and Ruby were on the Ferris wheel right now as they looked at the city from all the way from the top.

"Isn't the view up here, amazing?" Ruby asked gently.

"Sure is!" Raph said as he twiddling his fingers and looked at Ruby.

"Hey Ruby?" Raph asked.

"Hmm?" Ruby said as she looks at him.

"Listen, about the other day at school with everyone making fun of you like that... just to say this, I think you are the most prettiest and beautiful girl, I'm really glad that I've met you!" Raph said in happiness as Ruby smiled at him right now and their hands touched one another on the bar of the Ferris wheel.

"I'm really glad that I've met you too Raph!" Ruby said with a smile on her face and they continued to look at each other. However, their moment got interrupted by a strange crash as the Ferris wheel begin to break while people look up at the top.

"What's going on?" Ruby asked.

"I don't know!" Raph said as Ruby started to panic while the handle bar of the Ferris wheel broke and Ruby was holding on to the end of the Ferris wheel seat.

"Ruby!" Raph cried out.

"Ahhhhhhhh!" Ruby screamed as she looks down far to the ground and panicked, her hand couldn't hold on any longer but Raph grabbed a hold of her hand.

"Raph! You gotta get out of here, the Ferris wheel isn't gonna hold the both of us!" Ruby said as she looks up at him, but he couldn't just leave her to fall.

"No way! I'm not going anywhere besides just keep your eyes on me!" Raph said as he kept his eyes on her and she did the same thing.

"Raph...!" Ruby cried out as he was holding onto her hand as much as he could.

"Ugh!" Raph gritted his teeth, not letting go of Ruby's hand since he was so strong and been working out lately. He pulled Ruby up and then carried her in bridal style. She panicked a little bit as Ruby looks down to the ground again, holding onto Raph.

"Ruby, look at me!" Raph said gently as she looks in his eyes and calmed down. "I've got you, I'm not gonna let you fall! Trust me!"

Ruby smiled and nodded as Raph jumped off of the broken Ferris wheel, luckily they were the only ones on it. Everyone cheering and clapping their hands for Raph and Ruby.

"Raph, you didn't leave the Ferris wheel! It wouldn't hold both of us if you didn't get off of it in time!" Ruby said in worriedly as Raph was still carrying her in his arms.

"So, what? And let you fall! But you needed a hero like me and I'm your friend Ruby! I wouldn't want you to fall off the Ferris wheel like that!" Raph said gently as Ruby smiled and she has never met anyone that care about her too much. She hugged him tightly.

"Oh Raph, thank you!" Ruby said as he looked into her beautiful aqua green eyes and her eyes sparkle.

"You're welcome Ruby!" Raph said gently.

After they left the carnival, Raph won Ruby a cute little stuffed bunny today. She really had a great time with him.

"I had a great time today Raph!" Ruby said in happiness.

"Me too!" Raph said as Ruby gave him a kiss on the cheek like the other time that she did it. She went inside of the house and waved to him with a smile.

"Bye!" Raph mouthed as he went back home himself.
