Highschool Days (Raph x Ruby): I Really Really Like You

It's valentine day at Eastman High School as everyone else had their valentine and getting roses, box of chocolates, chocolate covered strawberries and stuffed teddy bears as Raph was wearing a gray t shirt with blue jeans and he got roses, chocolates and a teddy bear for ruby.

He opened his locker as he sighed a little bit and Raph was very nervous about asking Ruby to be his valentine, he loves hanging out with her all the time. Until, Skylar interrupted his thoughts about Ruby just now.

"Happy Valentine's Day Raphie!" Skylar said as her hair was braided into a ponytail, she was wearing a pink valentine day shirt with black pants. "Ready to celebrate Valentine's Day with me?" She asked as the blonde teen girl blinking her eyes at him.

"Skylar, I already told you that we're not getting back together anymore! Not now or ever!" Raph said as he was about to go see Ruby but he felt Skylar put her hand on his shoulder.

"Oh, come on Raph! You obviously can't have feelings for Ruby, besides I love you and I can tell you love me too!" Skylar said in a serious tone as she touches his cheek and she got closer to his face. Raph scoffs, he doesn't love Skylar anymore.

"Skylar, I don't-" He got cut off by his ex girlfriend kissing him on the lips while Raph's eyes were wide open and Skylar was still kissing him but he didn't kiss her back.

Ruby was walking through the hallway, talking to her best friends Terra and Gabby as Ruby hopes that Raph will ask her to be his valentine.

"I really hope Raph asks me to be his valentine!" Ruby said as she looked at her friends while walking down the hallways with them.

"He will besides Raph really likes you!" Terra said.

"I hope so!" Ruby said as she crossed her fingers for good luck.

"I don't think so!" Gabby said as they stopped and looked at her for a few minutes.

"Why?" Ruby asked as she raises her eyebrow and Gabby pointed out.

"That...!" Gabby said as Terra and Ruby saw something that shocked them while Ruby gasps and sees Raph and Skylar kissing which caused Ruby to sniffled and her heart broken to pieces.

"Raph?" He saw Ruby standing there and he didn't want Ruby to think that him and Skylar were back together.

"Ruby, I can explain it's not what it looks like!" Raph tried to explain to her but she started to have tears in her eyes.

"Raph....how could you?" Ruby asked in sadness.

"I wasn't trying to-"

Ruby just started crying and ran off, heartbroken and devastated at the same time.

"Ruby wait!" Raph cried out.

"Bummer!" Skylar said as Raph turned around and faced his ex girlfriend.

"See, what you did! Ruby's heartbroken because of what she saw just now!" Raph said in anger as Skylar didn't care about it and rolled her eyes. "It's all your fault!" He said.

"So? She deserve it anyway! Besides she already stole my popularity here in school, there's no way I'm gonna let her steal you away from me! Ruby is manipulating you Raph!" Skylar said as this made Raph angry because she was manipulating him again.

"No! You are Skylar, your manipulating me again! See? This why I don't want to get back together with you because you're manipulative and selfish and a mean girl! I rather have Ruby as my girlfriend instead of you! She's beautiful, funny, smart and kind! I really really like her!" Raph said in anger as he took the valentine stuff out of his locker. "I want Ruby to be my valentine, she's special to me!" He said.

"Huge mistake Raphael Hamato, you're gonna regret this!" Skylar said as she walked off in anger. Gabby and Terra heard everything that Raph said just now.

"I knew you'd always have feelings for Ruby!" Terra said with a smile on her face and Gabby nodded in agreement with her.

"Look, I didn't kiss Skylar, she kissed me besides Ruby's the only girl for me, I want her to be my valentine! But what's the point? She probably doesn't want to talk to me!" Raph said as he sighed.

"Raph, just go ask her! We know that you didn't mean to hurt Ruby's feelings!" Terra said in happiness.

"Really? You'd think she'll talk to me if I explained to her about the situation?" He asked them.

"Most definitely! She's in the bathroom, crying right now but go talk to her!" Gabby said as Raph nodded and went to go talk to Ruby.

Meanwhile, Ruby was sitting on the floor in the bathroom as she started to hear knocking and heard Raph's voice just now.

"Ruby, are you in there?" Raph asked as he could tell that she was really upset.

"Go away Raph!" Ruby said in anger.

"Ruby, please hear me out!" Raph said gently.

"Fine!" Ruby said as she sniffles and wipes her eyes.

"Look, I know that you saw me and Skylar kissing back there! But it's not what you'd think!" Raph said gently as he can hear Ruby crying again.

"But I thought you liked me!" Ruby said in sadness as Raph didn't mean to hurt her like this.

"I do like you! But I didn't kiss Skylar, she kissed me besides I told her that I didn't want to get back together with her ever again! Heck, I don't want Skylar to be my valentine anyway she's tried to manipulate me again and I told her that me and her were done forever!" Raph said gently as Ruby continued to listen to him for a few more minutes.

"I want you to be my valentine Ruby!" Raph said gently as Ruby opened the door just a little bit.

"Really?" Ruby asked.

"Yes! I'm sorry Ruby and I've never meant to hurt you! There's no girl I wouldn't want to be my valentine except for you! But I like you a lot!" Raph said gently as Ruby hugged him tightly.

"Happy Valentine's Day Ruby!" He said as he gives her the roses, chocolates and the teddy bear and she loves it.

"Thank you Raph!" Ruby said gently.

"No problem!" Raph said.
