Highschool Days (Raph x Ruby): I Really Really Like You

Study Partner

While getting assigned to a study partner in English class as the students didn't want to be Ruby's partner, since they think she's a freak with a light blue skin color and they think she had the most ugliest ears ever.

"Pfft! Why would anyone want to be her study partner? She has the ugliest blue ears and that skin color of hers is the worst!" One of the students said as they all started laughing at Ruby all except for Raph as Ruby gotten her feelings hurt by everyone. Until, Raph stood up from his desk and that he wants to Ruby's study partner.

"I'll be her study partner!" Raph said as Ruby smiled at him, then she went over to an empty desk and sat next to him.

"Thanks Raph, I'm really glad to be your study partner!" Ruby said.

"No problem!" He said as he looked at her and started to complement Ruby. "To be honest with you Ruby, your ears are beautiful!"

Ruby blushes and smiled, even though she has trouble fitting into high school which is hard for her. "Thanks Raph, it's just that I'm having a hard time fitting into high school besides I'm not popular like anyone else!" She said gently as Raph looked into her beautiful aqua green eyes.

"Maybe you just need to get use to it here like make new friends which you already have with me, April and my brothers!" Raph said gently.

"You're right! It might take some time for me to get use to it since I'm still new here!" Ruby said gently. Raph and Ruby continued to look at each other when they got interrupted by Raph's ex girlfriend named Skylar.

"Raph, are you seriously gonna be friends with her? She's not your type!" Skylar pointed out at Ruby.

"Skylar, don't even start with that!" Raph said in anger as the blonde hair girl scoffs at him.

"Whatever!" Skylar said as the bell ring and their English teacher reminded them about the study session. Raph and Ruby started walking down the hallways as they were gonna met up with Leo, Donnie and Mikey.

"So, who was that girl anyway?" Ruby asked him in concerned as Raph told her about Skylar.

"Oh, that was Skylar! She used to be my girlfriend until I broke up with her a few times and got back together with her a lot, she kept on manipulating me and been a jerk to my brothers! I broke up with her because she was being manipulative and selfish!" Raph explained to Ruby as she didn't even know he had a human girlfriend, then Ruby felt bad for him about it. He deserves someone way better than Skylar.

"I'm so sorry that Skylar mistreated you like that Raph, and you deserve someone better than her!" Ruby said gently as she touches his hand, but then stopped so he wouldn't notice as they both laughed nervously.

Meanwhile, back in the sewer as Raph and Ruby were in the bedroom studying for their study session for English class tomorrow while Leo, Donnie and Mikey giving the two of them some time alone to study.

"Okay, I think we're done!" Ruby said while Raph stack up the papers and put them in a yellow folder and Ruby put the English books in her backpack.

"Yep, that study session went great to me!" Raph said gently as they both smiled at each other.

"I totally agree with you on that dude!" Ruby said as she stood up, but she almost trip on her own foot.

"Woah!" Ruby cried out as Raph stood up and caught her just in time before she fell to the ground.

"You okay?" Raph asked.

"Yeah!" Ruby said nervously as they looked at each other while Raph was still holding her in his strong arms.

"Sorry about that!" Ruby said as they stopped and both of them blushes without looking at each other this time.

"It's okay!" Raph said as he scratches his neck nervously.

"Well, I better get going! I'll see you at school tomorrow Raph!" Ruby said.

"Bye Ruby! I'll see you tomorrow!" He said.

Walking through the streets alone at night time as Ruby stopped and looked around, having a strange feeling that someone was following her.

"Hello? Is someone there?" She asked as the person grabbed her by the arm and then started to pin her to the ground.

"Let me go!" Ruby yelled.

"Not gonna happen babe!" He said as he started to kiss her neck while she struggled to get out of his grip but he was too strong.

"You're hurting me! Ouch! Get off of me!" She cried out as she almost got raped until Raph pulled him off of Ruby.

"Hey! Keep your hands off of her! Don't you ever hurt her like that!" Raph yelled as he punched the guy in the face, knocked him out cold. Raph turned around and sees Ruby sobbing into her hands as he gently took her into his strong arms.

"Oh Raph, I was so scared I thought he was gonna-" Ruby crying into his arms as Raph comfort her.

"Shhh, it's okay I'm here Ruby! I'll always be here for you when you need me!" Raph said gently. Luckily, it was a good thing that she doesn't have any bruises on her. Raph saved her life before she almost got raped by that guy.

"Thanks Raph, you really came to my rescue!" Ruby smiled at him as they both walked down the street together.

"Well, your a very special girl Ruby and besides if you ever need me, I'm here!" Raph said as Ruby wanted his phone number just in case if she does need him.

"Can I get your phone number?" She asked.

"Sure!" Raph said gently as she gave him his phone and he typed his number in.

"There you go!" Raph said gently.

"Thanks Raph!" Ruby said as she gave him a hug and he hugged her back.

"You're welcome Ruby! Call me if you need me!" Raph said as she nodded.

"I will!" Ruby said as she went in the house and she sighed romantically. "He so brave!" She said to herself.
