Seattle day one.
                            {but what if it's you?
                            and it wasn't me.}

Ellie's pov
I'd be lying if I said the last six weeks of arriving to Seattle weren't hell.

I almost lost Quinn twice, I almost got my face ripped off by a clicker, and I made Quinn so mad she won't talk to me at all.

And your probably wondering, what the fuck I did to make her so angry, so, let me give you a idea.
two weeks prior.
(3rd person view.)

"Can we find a spot to rest? we've been moving all day Ellie it's getting late." Quinn asks for the third time today.
"Goddamnit Quinn! I've told you four times! We don't get to fucking rest during this shit!" Ellie yells back, stopping in the abandoned run down building to look behind her at Quinn.

Quinn feels her blood begin to boil, As well as her face get hot and the room begin to feel warm, She's over Ellie talking to her like she's a dog, They've been on this trip for four weeks and not once have they talked about that night, frankly they were both scared to.

Instead of Replying Quinn just nods her head and drops it down in defeat, Even though she hates the way Ellie treats her she can't help but feel sorry for the girl, Not to mention the guilt she feels about not being able to help Joel even though she was unconscious.

"let's check this room then we'll find a place to rest." Ellie suggest as they make they're way through the building, feeling slightly guilty taking her anger out on the girl.

Quinn makes her way in front, putting her ear to the door as she listens for any signs of infected or anything else that could be in the room.

She listens as she hears the inhuman screeches that come from inside the room, she listens to the awful clicking sounds from the clickers inside.

"It's crawling with infected, we're not doing that." Quinn says, putting her foot down for once in her life.

"Stop being such a fuckin pussy and let's go."
Ellie snarls back, gripping Quinn's hand and busting into the room.

Just as they do, A clicker comes up from behind them, grabbing Quinn by her back pack and dragging her down to the floor.

She's trying to fight it but with no luck it's comes to take a chunk out of the blonds neck, but Ellie manages to shoot it right in the face, making it loosen its deadly grip on the girl.

Quinn quickly grabs her gun, taking Ellie's hand and dragging them out of the room.

Both of the girls are shooting behind them while running for there life's, Every sort of infected right behind them, inches away from sending them quickly to there death.

Quinn sees an opening and quickly drags Ellie through it, shooting one runner in its face before ruining completely away from the building.

Once they get far enough away Ellie stops to take a breathe, chuckling a bit before speaking up to the blond on her right,
"That was fucking close huh?" She breathes out, laughing some more from the situation.

Quinn on the other hand? oh she did not find it funny.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?! You almost got us killed!" Quinn yells, Slightly pushing Ellie with hot tears steaming down her face.

present time.

and that's why Quinn is so mad at me, Granted I almost got her killed but She's alive so I can't wrap my mind around the fact that she's still mad at me.

Mad is probably an understatement she's pissed, but she did survive, so I really don't understand how she can still be mad.

"Well we're officially in Seattle."
Quinn says behind me, voice so soft it's almost a whisper, that's the first thing she's really said to me since two weeks ago.

"No welcoming committee." I respond, slightly looking behind me so she could hear me better.

"Let's hope not." Quinn replies once more.

we stay silent the rest of the way, we both kept our eyes peeled on all of the higher grounds.

Soon we made our wag to a gate, with a few small buildings surrounding it.

"You ever been here?" I ask Quinn, stepping off of the horse and reaching my hand out for her to grab so she can slide off as well.

"Nah, I mostly just traveled along the out skirts, I avoided these mother fuckers at all cost." She replies, slipping off of the horse and pointing to the gate in front of us.

"Im going to search this building for a gate code, stay with shimmer." I order her, walking over to the small shack and busting the glass out of a window to get inside.

Once I climbed my way through, I began to immediately search the drawers of the large desk, flipping through papers to find a code.

"Fuck." I whisper to myself once I realized I was almost at the end of the stack of papers.

Just as I did a piece of paper reviled, it had a code written on the front, with (fuck Fedra gate) Written in bold lettering at the top.

I quickly took it outside, walking over to the gate to type in the code,
"one."
"zero."
"six."
"eight."
I say to myself as I type the numbers in on a key pad, lifting my head to watch the gate begin to open.

"Hell yeah." I laugh, completely amused by how easy that was.

"I hope you don't think it's all gonna be that easy." Quinn says, a small smile appearing on her face as she looks at me.

"Well," I begin, making my way over to her,
I grab the right side of her face softly, my thumb just below her eye, "It'll be easier if you'll stop being mad at me." I continue, rubbing her red cheeks with my thumb.

"You have one more strike Willams, don't fuck it up." She whispers, placing her hand on mine and leaning into my touch.

Quinn.
Ellie and I found an old run down house to stay in, it definitely wasn't the nicest,
the floors are completely rotted out with holes covering different places in the floor and ceiling.
But you really can't complain when your this tired.

We killed a number of infected just trying to get into the damn place, I'll be damned if I did all of that work and I don't get any fucking sleep.

I begin to lay my sleeping bag down on the floor, sitting my backpack on top of it once i'm finished.
"Hey, are you hungry?" Ellie says walking into the room, holding two cans of something in her hands.

"No, I'm okay." I respond, giving her a small smile as a "thank you." For the gesture.
"Quinn." She sighs, walking over and sitting down beside me on my sleeping bag, a look of concern spilling from all sections of her face.

"You haven't ate in days, your getting weak, please just eat." She begs, staring me down so hard I feel like it could light my body on fire.

"Okay." I sigh, picking up a can out of her hands and
examining it.
"What the hell is this?" I ask her, looking at her with wide eyes.

"It's good trust me." She replies.

I will never be trusting her with food again.
