The feeling of stepping back into the gates of Jacksonville was like no other, knowing we were all home and safe, we aren't physically hurt and Maria says that's all that matters, though our hearts are in pieces.

After the death of my father and my sister, my entire view on my life changed.
Everything changed.

I wanted to find them and be a family again,
but I guess everything happens for a reason.
But I can't seem to figure out what the reason was.

Ellie's the only thing holding me together anymore, when she's not around I tend to break, shes everything to me.
If she was the ocean i'd simply be salt so she couldn't live without me.

The second we walked into Ellie's house we immediately collapsed on the bed, laying on our backs breathing in the familiar scent we both missed so much.

"Im glad we're home." I whisper, intertwining our fingers together and turning my head to look at her,
"so am I." She smiles at me, leaning in a placing a kiss on my lips before backing away,
"I'd say we need a shower though," She laughs, I agree with her and quickly stand up, making our way to the shower.

Ellie.
Soon after we arrived back Maria invited us to a "little," get together, Me and Quinn agreed to go, Even though we'd both much rather stay in the comfort of my sheets, we got up and went anyways.

Quinn and I made our way through the bar, her holding onto me the entire time due to her anxiety.

"My favorite girls!" Dina yells, ruining to us in the middle of the bar and embracing us both in a tight hug, waiting a few seconds before pulling away.

"How are you?" Dina asks Quinn, Quinn just drops her head which causes Dina to get a look of confusion and concern across her face.

Me,Tommy, and Maria are the only ones who know about the terrible things Quinn had to see and go through just about a month prior, Quinn's ignores the question and grabs another drink, swallowing it down quickly.

When I hear a soft melody playing over the speakers in the room I grab Quinn's hand, causing her to look up at me with a small smile, "Dance with me." I pleaded to her, she rolled her eyes with a small laugh and lead us out to the middle of the dance floor.

She wrapped her arms around my neck while my arms draped around her waist, both of us slowly moving in sync to the rhythm,

"You remember that night at the bonfire?" She asks me, looking up at me with a small tint of red spreading across her cheeks as she remembers the moment.

"of course I do Quinn." I say, returning the smile and looking into her deep blue eyes.

"You should've kissed me then," She whispers, looking down after she finished her sentence,

"I wanted to," I reply, grabbing her face and brining our lips together, savoring every moment of the kiss.

"There's kids around." Seth scruffs from behind us, causing Quinn to turn around and say a light sorry,
"Sorry!" She says in a more aggressive tone once she saw the look on his face, she grabs my hand and turns us around, pulling us away from the man.

"Watch it next time there's kids around!" Seth yells as we begin to walk out, "yeah like your setting such a great example." Quinn says, rolling her eyes and continuing out of the room.
