The next day found Carolyn sitting in the kitchen sipping a cup of hot cocoa. She had gone to bed after having dinner with her family, which resulted in more laughter and jokes then any serious talk. Olivia had told her a bit more about her boyfriend Max, who she met in London. Unfortunately she had some difficulties sleeping, not being used to the different time zone.

Hearing footsteps coming closer, Carolyn looked up, seeing her cousin walking into the kitchen.

"Hej, god morgon(good morning)." Olivia said, letting out a small yawn. "Did you sleep at all?" she asked, mumbling while trying to stop another yawn.

Carolyn let out a soft laugh and took another sip from her drink. "Yeah, I tried, but it wasn't the best sleep I had." Nodding her head Olivia moved around the kitchen looking for something suitable to wake up.

"Do you want some hot cocoa? I made enough for an army." Carolyn asked watching her cousin as she stopped short being unsuccessful in her findings. Olivia turned around her eyes gleaming with excitment.

"I knew I could count on you." Both women laughed loudly as Carolyn went over and pourred the hot drink.

"You remember when we did that while being at the camping grounds. Every morning we would sneek to the front of caravan and make ourselfs a cup of cocoa."

Carolyn grinned thinking back to the time she used to spent with her sister turned cousin. "Yeah, those were always the best ways to wake up. I really missed you while in New York, I could have used the company in the mornings." she said wistfully.

Olivia looked at her and pulled Carolyn into a tight hug. "Aww, I missed having you here, too. You know you're my favourite cousin."

"Yeah, 'cause I'm your only cousin." Both burst into giggles not hearing the heavy footsteps pounding down the stairs.

"What's got you girls in such a fit of giggles."

Stopping abruptly the two women looked at the sources of the voice. It was Steven, Carolyn's father, standing in the doorway to the large kitchen.

"We were just reminiscing about the old times, dear uncle." Olivia said smirking into her cup of cocoa.

"Oi, you be careful over there missy, or there'll be consequences." he said, but his smirk told the girls that he wasn't really serious about it. "So what are you both doing up so early?"

"Couldn't sleep." was Carolyn's short answer.

"I'm excited for the trip." Olivia said escitedly, grinning from ear to ear, like a kid in a candy shop.

Nodding his head Steven headed around the isle making himself a cup of coffee. Carolyn looked dumbfounded at the both. "What trip are you talking about, O? The one you are going to with Max?"

Olivia rolled her eyes looking at her cousin. "NO, silly. Dad decided we all should head down to Öland, this time of the year it's really wonderful, or have you already forgotten that?"

Shaking her head to answer the question. "And when have you people decided that?"

Scratching the back of his head Steven turned to his daughter, looking a bit like he was caught with his hand in the cookie jar. "We all decided it yesterday before you arrived. We thought it would be a wonderful idea."

Carolyn looked surprised at the new revelation. "Of course it's a great idea, you guys know how much I love going there, but when did you want to tell me?"

"I wanted to tell you yesterday, but I got a bit sidetracked." Olivia said with a grin covering her whole face.

"Oh yeah, and by what? Max isn't here, so what was it?" Carolyn asked getting agitated by Olivia not giving her straight answers.
