Bunny's POV
I have been living with Zuku for over a year now. Kay is busy at school with Kat. Both act like they hate each other because apparently Kat hates everyone. But when no one else is around (but me and Zuku of course), those two act like they have known each other for years.
I was just drawing in my sketch book when all of a sudden Zuku called me down to the kitchen. Before I walk into the kitchen, I see Auntie laying on the blood stained marble flooring, while Zuku is being held by the neck.
I duck under a table to the side before the villain turns around. I quickly grab my phone out of my pocket and I dial Kay's number. Did I care that Kay and Kat were in the middle of class, no. But did I care about getting the people I care about out of trouble, yes.
{Kay?} I whisper into my phone. {I need you and Kat to get the heroes and come to the apartment. There is a villain in the kitchen holding Zuku hostage and Auntie is unconscious.} When I said this, I didn't know that Kay's phone was put on speaker because her phone had rung in class. {Where are you right now?!?!} I knew from the voices that was Kat and Kay overlapping each other.{I'm under the table by the kitchen} I say with tears rolling down my face. {Kay? I'm scared} I say with my voice cracking every other word. Through the phone I hear Kat saying "WE NEED TO GO OVER THERE AND HELP THEM!!!" {KAYLA! TELL KAT HE NEEDS TO BE QUIET OR I WILL BE FOUND!} I whisper yell.
A few minutes later, I hear sirens. But Zuku and Auntie are both already unconscious and injured. But Zuku's aren't as bad as Auntie's. The villain has been looking for me for the past 10 minutes. As the heroes are trying to get the door down, the villain spots me under the table and grabs me by the throat.
When the heroes get the door down, they see the villain holding me in a chokehold. One of the heroes, Eraserhead, uses his scarf to wrap the villain up which causes him to drop me on the ground.
The last thing I see before everything turns black is Kayla running towards me. I wake up in a hospital bed to Kayla sleeping next to me. "Kay? What happened" She wakes up and hugs me tight "I'm so happy you're alright" I can hear the sniffles through her voice. "Hey, I'm fine. Where's Zuku and Auntie?"
"Zuku only has a few injuries, nothing more than a broken arm but..." I look at Kay worried "Kay is she ok?!?" I then see her tear up "S-she has too many major injuries and needs surgery but it's a lot of money.
