The pumpkin headed man comes onto the arena floor.
Pumpkin head- Competitors step forward. This entire arena will be your battlefield ladies. Since this is one on one, we've moved the rest of your teammates completely off the field. You have a thirty minute time limit.
Flare- (cocks head to the side) Good. Plenty of play time.
Lucy- Im not losing to you.
Pumpkin head- If you can knock out your opponent or make them forfeit within the time limit, you win. I want a good clean fight. Now, let's rumble!
The gong sounds and the pumpkin head man departs. The match has officially begun.
Lucy- Here we go. Open Gate of the Golden Bull: Taurus!
Taurus is summoned and swings his axe at Flare right at the jump. Flare leaps into the air to avoid getting sliced.
Announcer- Lucy Heartfilia opens with a Celestial Spirit right out of the gate.
Lucy- Open Gate of the Scorpion: Scorpio!
Scorpio- Wicked. It's a party.
Now I have two Celestial Spirits on the battlefield at the same time. Something could never do in the past. This is the result of my training.
Scorpio- Sand Buster!
Scorpio fires a sand blast directly at Flare.
Flare- hahahaHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Her hair wipes out in all directions and catches fire. Her flaming hair meets the sand blast head on and disperses it.
Lucy- Now Taurus, it's time to kick things up a notch.
Taurus- Can do!
Taurus rears his axe back as a mini sandstorm surrounds him.
Scorpio- Yeah man you got it! Let's go!
Taurus- (jumps into the air) Samdstorm Axe!
He brings his act down into the ground and a major sandstorm comes to life. Like this

The winds whip around like we're in the middle of a hurricane.
Announcer- What an attack folks! Not only did she summon two spirits but she combined their powers! This girl has got some serious skill!
The storm dissipates and I see Flare airborne and not looking to great as a result of getting carried away by the wind and the sharp pieces of sand flying around at that velocity.
Lucy- Thanks guys. That was awesome.
Taurus and Scorpio go back to the Spirit realm. Flare who's still flying through the air because of the attack recovers mid fall.
