In the middle of the old Salvatore house, Elijah knew this home. Had been inside of it many times. Seeing it completely changed with the youth running around enjoying themselves.
He stands there alongside Hayley looking at his children as Alaric spoke, "Looks like they're fitting right in."
There they were Hope talking to other people buzzing like a social butterfly along with her cousin Sage who held Soren's hand who refused to speak who lacked life nowadays. That youthful glow gone.
Sierra running wildly with other children playing tag. Whilst Salem stood in front of two twins both of them talking one sentence at a time getting both their points across.
"They're adaptable. And honestly, I think this is what they've always wanted. A normal life, friends their own age." Hayley speaks for both her and Elijah.
"Well, the kids here are pretty great. You know. They're accepting, eager to learn. You know, we just try to keep up. Teach them discipline, compassion, ethics," Alaric informs them both.
"Hopefully teaching them how to harness their magic and gifts," Elijah raises an eyebrow towards the once hunter that tried killing his family.
Alaric nods, "Yeah, there is some of that." And adds, "Along with the normal teaching curriculum."
"Thank you for allowing them here."
"All kids deserve the chance to be comfortable with what they are."
Hope waves at her mother, Hayley waves back smiling widely.
