A. N. : This is the edited version of chapter 10, which by now you know means the story flow is now much slower and things have changed a little. And as now I'm in my college doing classes, it will be a little difficult to upload because my net isn't working here all that well, but I'll try my best, till then, please keep up with my irregular ass and forgive me!!(';ω;`)❤️
Also, I honestly don't know what more to say except that, all of this writing is an outlet for me, and I hope all of you are with me in this irregular journey till the end.
Anyways, happy reading and I hope you all love this chapter as much as I loved writing it <3

"Love, wake up now~! We have a meeting to attend to." A man's voice called, but to whom?
No idea.
"Right, right. But isn't it fun to just lay in bed, and soak in the sun?" Another voice spoke up from somewhere, but this voice was much deeper than the one before.
Hayes couldn't see what was going on, only the sunlit balcony of a room that looked familiar yet not really.
'What's this place?' Hayes thought, still not able to see the people who still were having a conversation in the back, which sounded much like a married couple.
But who are they? That didn't sound like Ulah and his dad; no, the voices were familiar, the name of these people right on the top of his tongue, yet, nothing came to his mind.
'Emily! Emily! Where are you?' The prince shouted in his head, but no one answered.
Was this a dream?
Maybe.
"Hayes."
"I love you."
"Hayes!"
"Hayes!"
The lilac haired boy woke up with a gasp, drenched in his own sweat.
"What?!" Hayes looked at his father, definitely scared of something.
"You were trashing around in your sleep!" Alexander's eyes were wide and scared, for a moment he was afraid, terrified even, that he would lose his son too.
"I was?"
"Yes, you... You looked in pain." The emperor sank to his knees.
"Dad. Oh god." Hayes was quick to hug his father, as the young crown prince's face mirrored, his father's: terrified and shocked.
What the hell just had happened? The prince was no stranger to nightmares, but he was definitely a stranger to nightmares so strong that his trashing and mumblings could be heard by his father who came in running and worried that someone was trying to kill his son.
"What did you dream about, sweetie?" Alexander asked, as Ulah was also now present as they creased Hayes' hair.
"I... I don't really remember... I only remember seeing a sunlit balcony but, we don't really have that sort of architecture here, so I don't know what or why I saw whatever I did." Recalling everything he could remember; Hayes couldn't remember anything weird or creepy.
What an odd thing.
And where was Emily? No matter how much her host called, Emily remained unresponsive, and not as in that she was ignoring the lilac haired prince, but rather than in a way that would have made it look like as if Emily had gone missing. But how does a highly advanced AI like Emily suddenly go missing?
