"Emily, what more do we know about this Lady Celestine?" Hayes asked, watching the pale moonlight shine and gently dancing in his room, filling it with a familiar serenity.
◀ Replying to Hayes, Celestine Hattie Nyx is a complex character as described in the novel, as much as she wants revenge she also understands that her hatred for the family might just be superficial as most of her outburst had been a reaction of her father force feeing his own negative thoughts and emotions to her and her siblings; but she took it on herself to follow whatever her father, Lyon said or did.
Celestine can make a great ally as before their families downfall, they had a great control over the social circles, and even though they don't have that sort of influence now, the lady definitely knows her way around, not to forget her mother's close ties with both the information guild and the underbelly of the empire.
Though it's suspected that she too might be involved in the original plot line, we can't say that for now; and even if she was a part of the original villainous plan, I would say she might have been killed early on. As obviously, despite the delusions fed by her father, Celestine is a smart woman and no one would have a smart person on their plan of destruction, because if she had realised she would fall short on the deal, the lady would have easily backed out and taken her resources with her.
Perhaps the start of those mysterious murders started with Celestine's death, and as she had lost her position and power in the capital and with the authority figures, everyone assumed it was an unimportant case and moved on; not realising that she was the biggest clue to what was to come for them.
To conclude, she's an important supporting character but was overshadowed by other main protagonists and villains. ▶ Emily explained as her emerald screen turned transparent to show the database, and other important notes and footnotes about the character.
"Great, I think it's enough information on her for now, and it can come in handy." Hayes laid down on his, his lilac hair spread on his silk pillows. "Dealing with Lady Celestine is like walking into uncharted territory; as much as she's going to be an important person to play a key role in our plan, she's just as random. For now, I'll ask her to be my teacher as well, this way we can maintain a good relationship with Apollo, Srea and hopefully even Lady Nyx."

"No, I don't think we would need to buy anything for now. She's in a disadvantaged position so, it would be difficult for her to ignore my request and given the current scenario with the assassination of the Emperor's butler, even my father shouldn't have a problem if I and my siblings have the same teacher. It would easier in fact, to keep a check and an eye on her movements and not worry about another attempt."
