Chapter 8 : Warning Makalat

REGINA's POV

Since we got here in Vanguardia Foundation, I know I was right bringing Narda with me.

I can't help smiling when I saw her easily bonding along sa mga volunteers ng foundation. For some reason nalaman kasi nila na papunta ako. I guess Ali called them up kaya naman naghanda padin sila.

"Ehem!"

Si Ate Sabel pala.

I didn't noticed her with Kuya Jeffrey standing beside me. I know them since I represented them once. They run an animal shelter we also donate a lot to, and have people running it for them since sakanila ko na pinakatiwala ang foundation whenever I'm not around. Superb naman sila pagdating sa mga ganito.

"Hi Ate, Kuya!" I hugged both and also beso kay Ate.

"Sorry it took me long to visit po."

"It's okay Reggie! Ito naman oh, everything is going smoothly naman dito." Assured ni Ate Sabel and ngumuso sya sa direction nina Narda.

"Sino yang si pretty girl mo?"

I felt my cheeks heats up sa sinabi nya.

"No. I mean, yes she is pretty. But she's just my new secretary."

"Ahhh" She and Kuya Jeff responded.

Tinaasan ko sila ng kilay when they glanced at each other. Kuya Jeffrey patted my shoulder.

"Okay sya ah, mukhang mabait di gaya nung mga dati mong sekretarya hahaha"

I rolled my eyes.

"I know I know. Narda is different I promise. I assure you friendly and mabait naman this girl."

"Jackpot sa wakas! Halika ka na at ipakilala mo na kami dyan sa pretty girl na yan!" Yaya ni Kuya.

I introduced Narda to them at nakasundo nila sya agad.

Peaceful ang feeling whenever I visit here pero seeing how Narda brings around her usual cheeriness, it's the loudest I've heard people here. I can see natural na nadadala at mas napapasaya ni Narda anywhere she goes. She's really one of a kind.

"Ma'am Re-"

"Regina."

I told her and looked at her. It's the second time since we got here.

"Pag nandito tayo you can call me Regina. If anything else in front sa mga nalapit sa foundation, Attorney Regina."

"Ayaw mo Attorney Beautiful?"

I rolled my eyes at her, stopping myself from smiling.

"Sure."

"Gandang ganda sa sarili eh." Bulong nya between saming dalawa.

"Di ka ba napapagod maging maganda Regina?"

"No." I stared at her, smirking.

"It's entertaining naman makita ka matameme sa ganda ko."

She blushed at that pero natawa.

"Sus! Ilang paligo lang boss baka matameme ka na din sakin Haha!"

She even faked flipped her hair. Natawa nalang din ako. Does she even need to?

Nagtawag na din si Ate Sabel na bumalik sila sa trabaho at ipinagkatiwala ko na din sakanya ang pag-tour kay Narda to know the ropes here.

It was almost four of the afternoon nang matapos ko kausapin associate ko dito regarding pro-bono cases. Nakausap din namin ang mga lumalapit sa amin for help gaya sa medical needs, consultations, advices and donations. As well as briefly meeting new volunteers na mga students, a doctor and two retired nurses.
