Chapter 6: Eels

They all hit the water

Felix starts going down in the water but Ember grabs him and swims up

"I hate water!!!" Felix yells

"Oh shut up you idiot! We all are in this water right now! We need to find land right now" Zane says

"I felt something touch my foot" Ember said

"That's probably the giant eels in this ocean, they probably smell my blood" Glitch said

"Wait wha-" Ashe gets cut off by all of them being dragged underwater by the big eels, the eels drag them to a giant underwater city protected by magic

Some mermaids come and put bubbles over their heads so they can breath

"Is this my little pony now?" Ember asked

"Bitch they are mermaids...and they are so beautiful!!" Ashe said in admiration

"Really? Your the toughest and coolest girl here...and you wanna like mermaids..." Zane said

Felix is sinking but Ember grabs him

"I hate water" Felix said

"Do you have any other lines?" Ember asked

"Hello!" One of the mermaids said

"Welcome to Giante! The underwater world!" The other mermaid says

"Isn't that just giant with an E at the end?" Zane asked

"Yes but...shut up! I'm Melanie and that's Zaya" Melanie said

"Cool, so...why were we dragged down here?" Ember asked

"Because one of you is bleeding...Duh" Zaya said

"That'd be me...but I'm not with these idiots" Glitch said

"How are you not dead!?" Zane said

"Because I'm cool like that...but I do need help tho...please" Glitch said and Melanie grabbed him and started to swim away with him to a hospital

"So...just swim around and do stuff...don't do anything stupid tho" Zaya said as she swam away

"I don't wanna be here! We need to leave" Felix said

"We can't...you need to rest, you got punched super hard earlier" Ember said with worry

"Whatever" Felix said with annoyance

A few hours pass by after they all find a place to rest, everybody is pretty chill and tired too, so they all just sit and talk about how they are going to kill shade

"How would we even kill a shadow? I'm convinced that old man was trippin, shadows are always there in the sun" Zane said

"Bro, the old man is smarter than you and me combined" Ember said

"But Zane has a point tho... shadows are always there when the sun appears...y'all think that Shade is a vampire?" Felix asked

"Maybe, remember, we need to be ready for anything" Ashe said

"Yea, but I don't know if I wanna do this anymore..." Felix said and everyone looks at him in shock

"Why!? This is the most fun we've had in years! And you just wanna go back to a normal life!?" Ember yelled

"I'm scared of death Ember...I'm scared of what'll happen to me if I continue this journey, the old man said that my dad did the same thing I'm doing right now when he was younger, and he went insane due to a sickness...apparently I have it too, so I either go insane, or stay sane and be boring..." Felix said in a sad tone

"That old man is old Felix, you don't truly if you'll go insane or something else might happen, literally, people always guess wrong Felix" Zane says with sympathy

"Awwww, well since your being sympathetic, I guess I'll stay" Felix says

"Yup, he's insane, murder him now" Zane said in annoyance

"No" Ember said

The mermaids come back

"Hello again! We wanted to show you our leader, she wants to see you...since your kinda like...guest here now..." Melanie said

"Of course we have to go see a leader" Ember said

"That sounds like you don't wanna go" Ashe said

"I don't! Leaders are usually too friendly, and then turn out to be a bad guy" Ember said

"Our leader isn't a bad guy, she's a girl" Zaya says

Ember and Ashe get shocked "really!? A place ruled by a female!?" Ember and Ashe yell in excitement

"Calm down, it's not that big of a deal..." Zaya said

"Yes it is!" Ashe yelled

"It totally is!" Ember yelled

"Sure...whatever" Zaya said as she started to lead everyone towards the Leaders place

They swim for a while (except Felix) and eventually make it to the place where the leader resides

"Woah...cool place" Ember said

"Yea, pretty cool" Zane says

They walk thru the palace and eventually make it to the leaders domain (no expansion 😏😏)

"Hello visitors" the leader says

"Hi!!!! Your such a beautiful mermaid! I'm in love" Ashe says

The leader chuckles "thank you, so you must be the people who beat Glitch" The leader says

"Well...we made him give up actually..." Ember says while Ashe is still drooling over the leader

"You should've killed him" the leader said

"Wait what!? But why!? He gave up, he didn't wanna fight anymore, we spared him" Ember says with a little anger

"He is a male, men never give up on their selfish ways, what makes you think he won't come back trying to kill you or your friends!?" The leader says with a little assertiveness

"Because he gave up, he knows he stands no chance against us now! And men aren't all bad, I have two male friends on my side right now, and they haven't done anything wrong!" Ember says with anger

"Do not talk to me that way! Men are all bad! You say those men are your friends, but Felix hasn't even told you about himself, and y'all have been friends since you were baby's, and you just so happen to run across this Zane guy and trust him!? Maybe your too trusting...Melanie, Zaya, throw them into the pit" the leader says with anger and disgust

Melanie and Zaya get a look of sadness and fear on their faces "b-but mother..." Melanie says

"We don't need to feed them to Malachite, they aren't bad, they just trust more than you do" Zaya says

"Are you disobeying me right now?" She sighs "then I guess I'll have to kill them myself" she gets up from her chair, and towers over the others

"Oh...shit..." Ember says
