I crossed my arms and looked to him seriously "What now?" I asked impatiently

"Mom asked me to look through your things to see if you had her favorite skirt and instead of finding it I found something else hiding in your dresser." He said seriously

My eyes went wide for a bit. "Don't you dare tell me that mom and dad know!"

"They don't, I want to know...do you really hate them that much to not tell them that?" He asked

"Yes, They do things to me that I didn't even deserve. I find ways to stay out of the house so I'm away from both of them for as long as possible. They treat me like shit just because I was friends with Zexion. But they don't even ask me about anything anymore they just assume that I'm going to be a bad child just because my only friend was a stupid boy." I said sadly

He looked to me sadly before he hugged me. "I'm sorry Lily...I should have known from how they've been treating you while I've been here. You know what...Tonight you and I are going out. Forget about mom and dad for the night."

I shook my head. "I have work tonight which because of this I might be late too." I said before I pushed him away from the door

I went inside and I went to my room to get dressed for work before I rushed back out. I got off of the steps before my brother offered to take me to work. I told him where I worked before he drove insanely there. Because he drove me I was able to get there on time. Where do I work? I work at a fast food restaurant. Its crappy pay but it keeps me busy and it's money that I have been saving up since I was in my freshmen year of high school. I haven't touched it once since I worked which as of late has been tempting. I work for the five hours that I do before I get picked up by my brother from work and he doesn't take me directly home. He takes me to a different restaurant all together which makes me confused on why he's acting so nice to me. He's never been nice to me ever, even when he was in high school. I don't really question him until he tells me to stay quiet until I'm spoken too. I was taken to get dressed in my black and purple dress that I made for Prom that I went alone for. I was then taken to a table that already had someone sitting at it. I was very confused on what was happening. It wasn't like my brother to be very secretive so I just looked at the menu without picking it up before I saw the other menu go down. I sat up in the chair when I saw that it was Zexion who I was sitting across from.

I looked away from him and I felt his hand on top of mine.

"C'mon Lily...please look at me. I'm sorry for ditching you for namine." He said sadly

I got my hand from him quickly and shook my head. "You're with her right? Then why the hell did my brother set me up on a date with you?" I said coldly

I hated the fact that my brother was stupid enough to place me with the guy who hurt me. He /knew/ that Zexion already had a girlfriend so why the hell did he make me be tortured like this?

"That's a lie...Mace told me about how things are with your family. I...I was afraid of rejection so I asked namine, who's actually my cousin to pretend to be my girlfriend around you." He said nervously

I rose an eyebrow at him before I looked him straight in the eyes. "....You're telling me that you bullshitted some stupid lie just to make me jealous?" I asked annoyed

He looked down embarrassed. "Y-Yeah. I...I was afraid by doing the sketch that we were doing that it'd be uncomfortable for us to do it since we were friends and all."

"But we aren't now, you made a seriously stupid mistake and I'm not going to be all sympathetic for a liar. You know how much I hate liars. I ended the friendship I had with Riku and with Lea because of them lying to me. Now when it came down to you and I you start the stupid lies up yet again. If you were hoping I'd understand and I'd be all happy like. You're dead wrong Zexion, I've had too much crap happen to me to think positively about anyone. You are no exception to that rule." I said before I got up and pushed my chair in. "I'm heading home, I have the joy of sleeping on the floor again tonight."

I walked out after getting my work clothes from one of the waiters. I then walked one fourth of the way before my brother caught up with me in his car.

"Lil, what the hell happened back there? You two were suppose to make up and stuff." He said sadly

"I don't like liars and I don't like being placed on a blind date with someone I hate. You have no idea what its like to be the hated one of the family Mace, you've always been loved by mother and father. " I said before I threw the heeled boots I had at his car.

I placed my sneakers back on along with my pants before I walk off again. He then parked his car on the side of the road and he stopped me from walking.

"You really think mom and dad hate you that much?" He asked

"Yes, they don't care about me at all." I said seriously

"Alright, well I believe you're wrong. So lets make a bet, for the rest of your school year you live somewhere else and I won't tell mom or dad and if they say that they miss you at least once you have to find a college in the states. But if they don't you can go to that college in England."

I glared at him a bit before I sighed. "Fine, but how is that going to work?"

He smiled. "Do you forget what I'm going to college for? I have many camera's in my car that I can place around the house you just have to find somewhere to be. Which is why I had you be set up with Zexion, he agreed to take you in."

I shook my head. "I have all the money saved from when I worked. I can stay at a hotel...just you have to get me to school and stuff."

He nodded his head. "That works. Lets get home and I'll distract mom and dad enough for you to pack the things that you'd need."

I nodded my head and I went home with him...I just hoped that he was right and I was wrong.
