"you sure you're okay with me just leaving you with the twins?" Reflect asks. Ironhide nods.
"yeah they're still sleeping. go. help Prime with the new bot. Ratchets gotta stay here, he's working on Jazz and Wheeljacks working on a new project. go, be a medic okay? if anything happens I'll let you know." Ironhide murmurs. Reflect nods slightly, leaning up to kiss him. the bigger smiles and kisses him, pulling him closer. "go baby, Prime needs you." Ironhide murmurs.
"okay love you." Reflect murmurs.
"love you too." Ironhide smiles. Reflect heads out of the room and towards Optimus. the mech is waiting outside the base for him. Optimus looks up when Reflect walks out.
"hello Reflect, are you ready for us to go?" Optimus ask.
"yeah, guess so." Reflect assures. Optimus frowns slightly.
"if you don't want to come with, you can stay behind, stay with your sparklings." Optimus assures.
"I'm not fully trained, but I'm the only available medic. Ironhide has the sparklings, they're still in recharge. he can handle them. I just, have never been this far from them. y'know? except that one time I had to go help Noah at the hospital. it just feels shitty to leave them behind, but I have a job to do. so, lets get on our way before I change my mind." Reflect says, transforming. Optimus transforms and heads out. "catch me up big guy." Reflect says.
"we received a notice that an Autobot landed about a week ago. they hailed the base yesterday but all we could get was coordinates. we couldn't get a name or anything." Optimus explains as they speed off.
"are we sure this isn't a set up Optimus?" Reflect asks.
"Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, and Bumblebee scouted ahead. whoever it is, they're too injured to move. they've made no move towards us, just keep repeating that they're a friendly." Optimus says.
"so if it is a set up we have back up out there if we need it. no other contact has been made? they don't recognize the voice?" Reflect asks.
"no. thats why we suspect they're injured. the scouts have checked for traps or spies and haven't seen anything. they still haven't confirmed who they are, but if they're bad enough," Optimus starts.
"conserving energy is the best thing to do. have the others tried approaching?" Reflect ask.
"they're waiting on my mark." Optimus says.
"how far out are we?" Reflect ask.
"about 30 minutes. they didn't land too far away, just outside our patrol area." Optimus says.
"give them the go ahead. those three can handle themselves. I need to know the condition of whoever this is before I get there. I'm not Ratchet, I can't remember all this stuff on the spot." Reflect says.
"of course." Optimus assures.
"you three cautiously approach. see if you three can't get a visual. Reflect needs to know a basic condition."
"sure thing Optimus."
"its been pretty quiet out here Prime, I'm not sure this bot is even still alive."
"Sunstreakers right, what if this bot is dead?"
"thats what you three are checking. be careful, let me know of their condition."
"yes sir."
"affermative Prime."
"will do Optimus."
"they're approaching now." Optimus says.
"good, just a basic look over is all I need." Reflect says.
"don't worry Reflect. if they're friendly and you don't think you can fix them, we'll take them back to the base. its alright." Optimus assures.
