Valentine Fitz

It's late in the day and I still haven't gotten out of bed. It's almost 2pm and no energy has consumed me enough to get out of bed and do something. As beautiful as Italy is, I'd rather just spend the day on this comfy bed.

My face squished against the pillows and my phone propped up for a clear view of me just scrolling through social media, I can hear the sound of the door closing. Too lazy to move, I figured it's best to just act asleep. I can hear heavy footsteps coming closer, then stopping.

I can feel whoever's presence staring right at me. "V." Harry's voice calls out. I don't respond back-waiting to see how long it will take him to realize I'm not actually asleep.

"Valentine?" He says my full name. He walks closer, then I feel the bed dip beside me. "Are you really asleep?" I try to contain my smile that creeps up my face but I'm determined to play this out. I can feel him lean in from behind to see my face. "You can stop playin now." I can hear the smile in his tone.

"C'mon, V get up." He says, I bite my lip to stop the smile forming on my face but fail miserably, and looks like Harry caught me. "Ah, there's that smile." He chuckles, and I open my eyes in defeat with a smile. "It's 1:43 in the afternoon and you still haven't gotten out of bed?" He says, with a light laugh.

"Didn't have the energy." I answer, getting up from my position and lying down on Harry's lap. He stares at me as he plays with my hair. "How was rehearsal?" I ask. He clicks his tongue, "Like always, boring and long." He answers. I stare at him, just laying on his lap and enjoying his presence. I look into his eyes as his emerald eyes stare into mine, one curl falling in front of his face. His features are beautiful-he's beautiful.

And someone like Harry would never lie to me.

No matter what anyone says.

"Look, I've got a couple hours to kill before my show.." Harry says. "Mhm." I reply. "Soo, I was wondering if you're down to come explore Italy a bit more." He grins. I wet my lips, biting my bottom lip to contain my smile. "Okay." I agree.

"Really?" He asks, I shrug. "Exploring Italy with you wouldn't be so bad." I say cheekily. "Mm, yeah yeah." He rolls his eyes playfully. "C'mon get up and get dressed, we leave in 10."

The hot sun beams down on us as we walk through the streets, flowers and food lingering in the air.
"Sometimes I wish I could live here." I admit, looking up at the sky. "Yeah?" Harry asks, looking down at me. I can feel him squeeze my hand lightly as we walk. "Yeah, I mean the weather is great, people are nice. Plus you know Italian so it won't be too hard to get around." I explain. His brow raise, "You wanna live with me?" He says.

"I mean why not. If we get to that point in our relationship...yeah I wanna move here with you." I say, I can see him fighting back a smile. "Oh look, strawberries!" I point to the man selling strawberries, running to him I ask for one. He smiles and hands be a strawberry. "Grazie signore." I smile, Harry hands him the cash. I turn around and give Harry one of my strawberries, "Mm, sorry love but I don't like strawberries." He refuses. I frown. "Oh c'mon you gotta try them!" I persuaded him. He shakes his head.

"Nope, sorry" He says firmly. "It's not even that bad." I find myself defending a fruit, "Look, I'll even take a bite." I say. Out of nowhere, he pulls out a camera and snaps a photo. "What was that for?" I laugh. "You looked pretty." He answered, "So?"

"So, I wanted to take a picture." He said, shrugging.

I let it go, as we keep walking another salesperson stops in front of us. "Per favore, signora, vegna a dare un'occhiata ai nostri gioielli più belli." He speaks, before I can say anything, Harry steps in. "Lei sta bene." His tone stern.
